UNFINISHED BUSINESS!

Good.checked and diagnosed. Problem in motherboard decided not worth the fix.Pro tech was very professional and honest about it.

Customer service, efficiency, knowledge of the product, and timeliness and also the price, were 5 stars- James was very professional and I was totally impressed with the job he did! He actually repaired my dishwasher and refrigerator in one visit!

It went Great

We have a Samsung refrigerator (which anyone who owns one knows) it's difficult and virtually impossible to find someone that will work on them. James is your guy!!!!! He was at the house in a few hours. Diagnosed the issue, got the part and the Samsung is working like a charm. We are so appreciative to know someone that is so friendly, knowledgeable and TRUSTWORTHY to call on for our appliance needs. Excellent service....10 Stars!!!

Great Service Call - Within hours of asking for a quote, James called to talk about the service call needed. He was able to find time the same week (2 days) to install the new dishwasher. He was able to install and test it out in the one afternoon. James was easy to talk to as he was pleasant and efficient.

Super! James called me within one hour of my request for a quote. Set up appt. for very next day and gave me a quote. Showed on time and completed repair in less than hour. Charged very reasonable rate.

Received call on initial inquiry was quoted $150 on call, he listened to what problem was on washing machine stated he knew what problem was , ordered part, CCU control board, Called when part came in , set up time to come. Day of appt. was running late was OK, I rescheduled my appt to later I had to be at to make sure repair happened on 10/23. Charged me $200. for a $53 part. That was fine. I paid. 11/20. Washer started doing same thing again. Maybe bad part , i don't know , not his fault I called left message within 30 days, I understand holiday. Waited until well past the holiday next week, called again left voicemail , waited 4 days no return call, Called again left another message, to ask if he could please come check it, and make sure it was not a bad part, still no return call. I have made a total of 7 calls left voicemails to James Funderburke still no return phone from him. My phone is on daily as I use it for work. I have no miss calls and NO voicemails from him. I finally googled PRO Tech and appears I am not the only person this happens to when there a problems after a repair he does. I will pay if it is a problem with another part. I think it is courtesy to check the part that is replaced because it does happen that parts are bad and it happened before 30 days. I do no recommend this service just for the fact he does not return a call once he does works if there are any issues at all. He was very rushed when he was here. I told him not to worry that he arrived late to me, I changed my appointment I had to go to.

This is a difficult review because we believe James tried to get the job done. We called Protech because our Maytag icemaker suddenly stopped making ice. He came out promptly and identified what he felt was the problem then left. The ice maker still didn't work,so he ordered a new ice maker and promptly replaced it when it came in, but the ice maker still didn't work. He retured a 3rd time and after taking off front door and attempted diagnosis without success, he consulted another person. They were able to resolve that issue but 48 hours later, water was leaking under the refrigerator. We called protech to report this problem and have not heard from them 2 days after our call. We spent money to fix one problem and a bigger problem now exists. We think he meant well but for us, the job did not get done.

The owner called me within 5 minutes of making my request for a quote on a Sunday(very impressive). He said he could come out the next day. He was there on time and said he needed to go and get the part needed and would be back later that day to fix it. He came back like he promised and replaced the ice maker within 30 minutes and was gone. It has been working perfectly ever since. I would def hire them again.

Pro Tech was wonderful. Excellent service, ordered part and here putting in on and washing machine now works great. Will ask him again if I have any problem with an appliance. Is such a nice person.

Ice maker repair

James was responsive and respectful throughout the time we communicated. He was able to fix our washing machine and it is now back to running smoothly.

James kept me informed on how far out he was and explained things to me as he worked. He tested out the parts and found that the water pump was broken. He had it bought and replaced within two days. Friendly and great customer service! Will most definitely hire again.

Great service, I had same-day service and appliances fixed. I have used them in the past and will continue to use them for the outstanding service!

James called me minutes after I submitted my request to Angi. I did not take the time to check the company's background as I assumed they had been vetted by Angi. James said he was familiar with the problem described and would be right over. James arrived promptly looked over the machine and advised parts were needed, I wrote him a check and he returned one week later with his partner to install them. Apparently parts were installed and they left, I immediately ran a load of laundry through the machine, the washer shook violently and shut off in exactly the same manner as prior to the claimed repair. I called immediately, minutes after he left my house ,left a voice message telling him he needed to return to complete the repair, he did not answer. I texted him a video and requested that all of the money I paid him be returned to me via paypal. The machine now needs to be replaced. The washer is barely 2 years old and very lightly used. I am very disappointed. I have since seen his company has an "F" rating on the BBB site, I should have looked further, I should have known better.
