"Diego is professional & very nice. Will complete the job to meet your satisfaction. Stays with the job until completed. Honest. I recommended him & his crew to my brotherâ s home in Fayetteville & my sisterâ s home in Raleigh who were also very pleased with his work. Does great work. Painted my stained cabinets white. Also, exterior work with siding & wood & painting. Thank you Diego & Home Advisor."

"From the time I first talked to Jeremy to the end of the project he was fantastic. They pick up the paint and brought all the supplies needed. I changed my mind on the bedroom paint color and had them repaint the bedroom and master bath. They said it was no problem and even when asked helped me to choose a color I liked better. If I could give Grateful Painting ten stars I would. Their work was just fantastic!"

"Luis and his team came to my home and we're very professional and quiet, I kept forgetting they were there. They corrected a terrible paint job that myself and a friend did. I will definitely call him back to finish the rest of my home."

"I love my freshly painted kitchen cabinets, bedroom and drop zone cubby. Jay and Gary are top notch professionals. Communication was great from start to finish. Very fair price, showed up as planned and was respectful of our home and our schedule. I have future painting in mind and will definitely use Whiley's Painting again."

To prevent a fence from becoming dirty, hose it down weekly and after every time you mow the lawn. This will prevent algae from being able to feed on grass clippings. You should also wash your fence once per season and trim plants so they don’t touch it. As a precautionary measure, you can treat your fence with a coating of a mold prevention product.

A dry lawn is easier to edge than a wet one. When your ground is wet, your blades will likely clump together, making a seemingly even cut while wet, but an uneven disaster when dried. Also, a wet lawn can impact your blade's performance and cause mud to kick up, resulting in a messy finish.

Yes, you can and should paint or stain pressure-treated wood to help prevent the boards from cracking. However, you must wait for the wood to dry out completely before applying any finish. Freshly treated wood can take weeks or even months to dry; a common recommendation is to wait three to six months. To check if the wood is ready, perform a simple water test: drip some water onto the surface. If the water beads up, the wood is still too wet and needs more time to dry. If the wood absorbs the water, it is dry enough to be painted or stained. You can proceed with building your deck or fence while the wood is still wet, but you will need to wait to apply the paint or stain.

Whitewashing isn’t permanent, but it can last for a long, long time. When you apply it correctly or have a seasoned pro whitewash your brick, whitewashing can last for 20 to 30 years or longer. Whitewash is very durable and typically requires little maintenance, making it a great project for most DIYers.

However, it is crucial to wait for the wood to dry out completely from the chemical treatment process before applying a finish. If the wood is still wet, the paint will not adhere properly. The drying time can range from weeks to six months. To test if the wood is ready, drip some water onto a board. If the water is absorbed, the wood is dry enough for painting or staining. If the water beads up on the surface, it needs more time to dry. You can build with the wood while it's still wet, but you must wait for it to dry before painting.
