We had to battle the elements with a major rainstorm that came through, but they were very adaptable and adjusted to ensure the job was completed properly. "The crew was friendly, but they did not do the work that we agreed upon. They didn't bring the equipment that they needed to complete the work, but instead of approaching me about it, continued to work. After I noticed that the work wasn't being completed as we agreed, I approached them and expressed my dissatisfaction. They explained that they didn't bring the correct equipment. I made the mistake and compromised on the original work because I could sense that they weren't going to try to do what was agreed upon. So, instead of removing 69 CYDs of dirt, they maybe removed 7 and graded the rest. Instead of removing the multiple stumps, they covered the stumps with the dirt that should have been removed. Then at the end of the day, they asked me for full payment. I'll never consider this company or these people for work again. They get two stars because the graded dirt did look okay. Problem is all of that dirt shouldn't be there."

"Tarheel encapsulated our crawlspace. They cleaned out the bulk of the debris and sprayed fungicide. They also managed to knock over a post jack. The second day they put a sump pump and replaced the old insulation They installed reinforced plastic sheeting, including over the base of the fallen post jack. The insulation began falling within a few hours of the crew leaving. They did send a second crew to fix this. Our older furnace depends on the under-house vents to breathe. These were all sealed up. The furnace pulled combustion air out of the house until I cut the vents open. In digging the sump well (at one of the highest points of the crawlspace) they cracked the sewer line, which let gravel fall in. Whenever the drains back up enough, the sump pump sends raw sewage out to the front yard. I am currently waiting for an estimate from the plumber to replace the broken sewer pipe and move the sump pump. I have called to discuss this and hope to eventually get a return call."
