"McNeill was very responsive and accommodating with our urgent, same-day request, which we truly appreciated. However, we were disappointed with the quality of the work. It became clear during the job that he did not have experience with interior painting. Despite us having the wall prepped and paint ready, he arrived without basic supplies such as a paint pan, adequate brushes, a large enough tarp, or a tall enough ladder. He began painting without fully taping the trim or surrounding areas, resulting in significant paint splatter on adjacent walls, the ceiling, the mantle, and trim. Attempts to clean the splatter unfortunately made things worse, smearing paint across other surfaces. We now have to completely redo the accent wall and repaint the surrounding areas. While we appreciate his willingness to help on short notice, we would not recommend McNeill for interior painting projects."
