I chose to work in this industry because I was always interested in electrical, and was offered to enroll in an apprenticeship program with my first electric company in Nashville, TN. It was mostly a commercial company. There I gained lots of valuable knowledge. After graduating from the 4 year trade school I became a foreman. Then moved back to Dallas TX to work for a residential service company. I also enjoyed this aspect of electrical. There is more troubleshooting involved. The owner of this company taught me a lot and we still keep in touch. Then I moved to North Carolina to pursue my own business. I can do most commercial and residential projects. "Outstanding- John worked had to install the video doorbell, couldn’t get to work? Had the Ring Tech folks on the line w/him for 30 minutes! He checked lines, voltage etc. way beyond the call of duty! Ring determined the kit may be defective! He still installed everything to enable me to merely switch out the kit once it came! Very professional, efficient and kind! The system came on line by itself 4 hrs Later!?"
