I have used the UTD team for several items at my home, from security camera setup, to various A/V installations, to home automation and I can say it was the best experience I have had with any A/V installation service. Very knowledgeable, professional, and the prices were in line with other installers or servicers whose work was not nearly as high a quality. Would highly recommend.

Very well. The owner came out and did the estimate himself and suggested a few options. We hose the route we would like to take and the technician Chris came out. Prompt, helpful and efficient. The final part of the work required some heavy lifting so another technician Luis came out, very knowledgeable about my system even though he hadn’t been assigned to it. All in all, great work.

Great. These folks were quick to respond, were very knowledgeable and suggested simple solutions to the challenges we were experiencing with our system. They rewired and cleaned up cables, installed some new equipment, etc. Most importantly, my system is easier to use, looks cleaner and my cell phone wifi calling works great now!

Excellent!. Summary: I received good advice on the necessary purchase of a new receiver. The problem-shooting addressed and resolved several problems. Detailed Explanation: The company and I anticipated that this would be a one-visit service, during which the trouble-shooting and set-up would both occur. When the technician (Luis) realized that my old receiver would not integrate with my new TV, he changed the process into a 2-visit arrangement. The first visit became a "walk-through" consultation and the 2nd visit became the problem-shooting and set-up. I was not charged for the first visit, and I was charged the initially agreed upon hourly rate for the set-up and installation. I thought the hourly rates were fair, based on the company's expectation that the job would be done in an hour or a bit more. Unfortunately, the job took 3 hours! While this was more than double the expected time (and money), I did not complain to the company because it really did take that long, and both the telephone contact person (Kim) and the technician were very accommodating and very professional. For example, rather than making me wait for weeks during this busy holiday season for the second visit, the technician "was asked" (!) by the contact person if he would be willing to come on Sunday! And he agreed! At the end of the 3 hours, everything was set up and working properly.

It went as expected. They provided an estimate with a few options, i selected what i wanted and they completed the services. Mid way through i changed my mind on one TV and they were great - they immediately came and picked up the tv, returned it and replaced it with what i was asking for. Since my installation, any questions i have had, have been promptly addressed, even if that meant him talking to me at 9:00 at night because that's as early as i got home.

Johan, Chris, Eddie and Kim didn't an excellent job keeping the project moving and kept us informed every step of the way. The installers were responsive to on-the-fly changes and were really detailed oriented. We couldn't be happier!!

(Still in progress) Replaced the remote with a simpler one and are programming it to meet my needs. They will also run cable connection to the system under the house to make wireless unnecessary. Very patient about explaining everything. Pleasant and professional in all respects. Scheduled work in two stages to meet my payment needs.

Fantastic work done, post-installation looks great, the media room has speakers in the ceiling and a large sub-woofer that absolutely rocks the house. Great attention to detail, came back a couple times for "tweaking" and did a great job.

My husband is a blind veteran and I am not tech-savvy at all. I called UTD and they sent out Chris who, beyond all words was simpy phenomenal. He was on time, proficient and compassionate. Inaddition to completing the assignment of connecting all of our systems: TV, BOSE, DVD Player,etc.he took the time to explain things in very simple language to us. Whatever our electronic, tech needs are we would only call UTD. Plus, the customer support services are exceptional. UTD is a company you can trust.

Johan came out and we walked through the house and discussed the internet issues I was experiencing and worked on a successful plan. I needed a couple rooms to be hardwired for perfect internet consistency as well as a strong signal through all corners of our new 5,300+ sq.ft. home. Johan is extremely knowledgeable about networking products and offers a number of viable solutions - he doesn't try to upsell you into something you don't need or want. I mentioned I was about to install 3 Nest Thermostats in my home as well and he let me know that his team would be able to handle that, too! Multiple projects knocked of the list at once. I will be calling him for a consult and install when I begin surround sound and other digital solutions in my basement Man Cave. Cost of service of $2,300 includes all materials (3 Nest Thermostats, 3 Wireless Access Points and all necessary Cat 6 cabling)
