TR used temporary supports and replaced seal plates, girders, and joists for over half of our home. In addition, they poured footers and built new columns. They also added a few additional girders to firm up our floors. They removed and replaced our insulation. They sealed our porch and crawl space, replaced our vapor barrier, and installed a moisture meter. They wrapped our electrical cords and hung them. The people at TR are remarkable. A+++++"

"Matt came over for estimate without a ladder to get into attic (red flag). Four weeks later On day of install Matt called to say his truck broke down and that they would be delayed getting started. Received another call from Matt shortly after that saying that the AC compressor was damaged when he went to pick it up. Was told I would have to wait 5 more weeks for a new unit to be delivered, this was after already having waited 4 weeks . Asked for my deposit back at which point Matt said that things weren’t his fault and that “his hands were tied”. Told him I’d stew on it and call him back in a while Before I could call him back , he called and had miraculously found another unit and would be over the next day. They showed up and did the install as agreed upon. I noticed right away that the unit gurgled while running. Contacted Matt and was essentially told that this was normal. Did some research and found out that it is not normal. In the mean time sent Matt a photo of some attic door trim that was removed and subsequently reinstalled with a big ugly gap. Was told by Matt that this was my fault as I probably hit it with the ladder I loaned them to do the estimate. Did not get a response from Matt about them reusing 27 year old refrigerant line insulation on the outside compressor. I’m sure this is somehow my fault as well. He reluctantly agreed to come over and fix the trim and check the charge on the ac system . Mind you this is only after a series contentious texts between he and I. The trim and insulation may seem like trivial things to complain about, but as I tried to explain to Matt is that not paying attention to the small details makes me think there are other bigger issues I haven’t discovered. I’m afraid to go into the attic to check the duct work and air handler. I think Matt’s guys want to do a good job, but suffer from a lack of leadership. Matt needs to personally follow up his peoples work to button up loose ends. Not just cash the checks and disappear. My problem is mainly with Matt Strouth and his inability to accept responsibility for quality issues."
