"The guys from ARS did a great job. They installed an entire new Rheem system in my home, added zoning and still completed the installation in one day. The Installers, Service Technicians and everyone involved in the installation were very professional, they kept me updated on their progress throughout the entire installation and answered all my question, to ensure I was satisfied with both the system and their work. It was comforting seeing They all wore their PPE the entire time they were inside and outside my home. I felt completely comfortable and also felt they respected my home as if it were their own. Upon completion of the installation, they cleaned both inside and outside to ensure they left my home in the same clean state it was in when they arrived. I would have no hesitation in referring ARS to anyone who is need of semi-annual service or an entire system replacement. The guys from ARS were very respectful, knowledgeable and it was evident they enjoyed doing their jobs. It is hard to find a company today that, either meets or exceeds your expectations but you can be assured ARS pleasantly exceeded mine. Thank you guys for a job well done."

"being a person in the profession, I was amazed at the quality of work given ......lets start at the beginning..i was calling around to find a good a/c company, so I called alpine air to my amazement they sold on their ability in dealing with strangers   the company them set up an in home apt  for me working around my  hours of availability. this gentleman  had his act together , knew his  business from start to finished and explained everything I did not understand so we set up an install date they sent two insatallers out and they was the top of the line. in just a few hours  it was installed .doing  the install process these two men were all about business and knew their jobs .never have I seen the ability as I had seen in these installers. after the  install they really cleaned up the area and  made sure that I was totally happy with my new A/C unit and the quality of work in which was  more than I expected.  personally I am over the top in complete satisfaction  with the job being well done  I would  highly suggest that alpine air is the ones to call if you want the job to be top rated and to my amazement they are well respected in the BBB with no complaints to warrant any thought from the public .being  hind sight  is 20/20 I look back and is overjoyed that I called  Alpine Air and on top of that they worked with me 100% to meet all my needs   as a customer I would use then in the future before I call any one else.........yes sire I,m a happy customer

Wells and Pumps questions, answered by experts

For the most part, choosing between 30/50 psi and 40/60 psi is based on your water-pressure preference. However, it can also depend a little bit on your house—if you have older plumbing, a lower water pressure can be easier on the pipes (and a bit more gentle on your well pump).

The lower 30/50 pressure is usually enough for a single-story home, but you may want 40/60 if you have multiple stories, as the extra pressure helps water flow smoothly up to the second floor.

The cost to replace a well-pump motor will depend on the size, but this repair is often as costly as installing a new pump. Generally, a well-pump replacement will cost between $950 and $2,650, with an average of $1,800. Other factors like pump type and pipework will impact your final cost.

A leaking well pipe is quite different from if the well itself is leaking. To seal a leaking well, pour a cement mixture or bentonite into the space between the well casing and the borehole wall. The heavier cement collects at the bottom to form a solid seal, pushing lighter materials like mud and fluids up toward the surface. Professional well installation companies have the equipment to do this properly.

A sprinkler pump may not turn on because of problems with the power supply or the circuit breaker. It can also stop working if the motor burns out. If it’s not a tripped breaker, a burned-out motor, or another issue with the power, it’s time to call in a sprinkler repair pro to take a closer look.

Age is certainly a factor in well pump failure. The older your pump, the more likely it is to fail.

Beyond age, other factors can cause your well pump to fail, too. Things like poor water quality can cause sediment buildup in your pump. Without proper cleaning, your pump can seize up and fail. Having a dry well for too long can also cause your pump to fail, as it keeps working even though there's no water for it to pull.
