However, daytime activity is possible if they have babies or are struggling to find food at night. A severely ill skunk could be moving around during the day as well. Skunks tend to be most active during the early spring months when seeking extra food or mates.

The time of day that most snakes are active is at night. This is when they prefer to hunt since they can do so under the cover of darkness, out of sight of predators and the prey they stalk. However, some snake species prefer very hot temperatures and are strictly active during the day.

Armadillos are not considered friendly animals. They are solitary and tend to avoid human interaction. While not aggressive, they can be shy and reclusive, often scurrying away when approached. Armadillos may carry diseases, so handling them is not advised. 

Fleas thrive during the warmer months, starting in March and running through November. However, the prevalence of these pests depends on the climate in your state. That’s why it’s important to stay vigilant for fleas on your pets and property during spring, summer, and fall. Be sure to apply flea prevention sprays and medications to their coats as directed by a veterinarian.
