"Excellent Service and Quality from Dependable Painting. We have a large vertical wood sided contemporary house. This is the best crew that has ever painted our house. They truly do treat our house like they would want their house painted. I watched Carlos paint and he very carefully paints the intricate trim in our house. And we have never hired a painter that did not leave a drop of paint on the floor or ground. The found some damage on our house and fixed the damage for far less than a handyman quoted us. Honestly, they know what they are doing. February is usually not our rainy season but they worked around the cold, wind and rain. I highly recommend Dependable Painting and Improvements and I would hire them again and again."

Customers say: True professional

"Mr. Diaz was quick to respond and give us a (Quite reasonable) quote. He was also able to start work within a week or so which was not a requirement but it was a bonus. We have a split level that is 2/3 brick so we needed the second story, all the eves, and trim scraped and painted. We had already purchased the paint so his price to us was strictly for labor. He did an amazing job on our old house. It had last been painted 17 years ago. He pressure washed, scraped, sanded, and caulked before painting. He arrived early and worked hard all day in the heat. He did such a great job that we hired him again to paint our wood shed to match. He cleaned up his mess and left the area clean and neat. We are very pleased and highly recommend him."

"Visions to Reality gives you their professional recommendations on a painting project before starting. There is no aversion to using a brand of paint the customer prefers. (such as Benjamin Moore Paints) Quality is provided , they are true craftsmen at their skill. The work area is orderly, and they clean up afterwards. They have proven to me scaffolding is not always necessary in a 2-story space. I am happy to recommend these painters!"

"DH Painting was exceptional! He was able to start right away and did an amazing job painting almost our entire home. It feels new and fresh and I am extremely grateful. He was very helpful in talking us through the process and choosing the right paint and colors for our home. We have already recommended DH Painting to our friends and family!"

Painting questions, answered by experts

DIY is possible with proper tools and knowledge, but professionals can ensure even application and high-quality results, saving time and hassle.

Yes, you can paint a chain-link fence, but you don’t want to use spray paint. With the spray method, you’ll be losing a majority of your product to the air, given the size of the gaps in chain-link fences. Instead, use a paintbrush for your fence posts and a paint roller for the wire.

You can apply stain over peeling stain, but it’s not a good idea. Your old stain will get in the way of your new stain bonding to the wood, so you’re likely going to see the same issue again shortly after application. Your best option is to sand off the old stain and clean the surface thoroughly before applying new stain.

We don’t recommend it. A wired brush or a brush with metal bristles damages concrete and asphalt during the stain removal process. For the best results, stick to nylon stiff enough to do the job but gentle enough to keep from scratching the driveway. For extra caution, skip the brush entirely and use towels.

A cedar fence will actually last quite a long time even if you don’t treat it with stain. In fact, you can expect to get between 15 and 30 years out of an untreated cedar fence. However, if you want to preserve its color and extend its life, treat it with a combination stain and sealer every three to five years.
