"A+ from start to finish. I have a newer build that is just over 4 years old and the deck had untreated wood used that rotted out an 8x8 support post and several of the joists. Clarence, the owner quickly responded and was out the following day to take a look at the project. He was very kind and honest and said he would have an estimate within 2 days. He had his deck builder out the next day, the estimate (very reasonable) the following day and said they could start the project the same week. You quickly learn in the OBX that getting an estimate for a project this time of year is a lengthy process let alone getting the work scheduled. I reached out to 4 vendors (including Gibbs), and 2 never responded and one was way over-priced. If the project isn't large enough, the not so great contractors will lie and tell you they'll get you an estimate and never respond. THANK YOU to Gibbs Daughters and Clarence for delivering a new beautiful deck with a very reasonable price and fabulous service. Watching your craftsmen work as they did was very cool. They are quite skilled and great at their trade. I will now only reach out to you for any work that is needed on my home. Thank you so very much!"

"Very friendly company, We liked them a lot. Roof looks great. They are very busy, so it took a while for installation. There were a few hiccups along the way. After installation we had unused nails on our roof. Some came down, some didn't. We also keep finding nails in our yard, some used/some not. During installation, our bushes were covered with a tarp, was told they would be covered with some type of board to protect them where they pushed the roofing off. One very mature heirloom bush was totally destroyed and will probably lose the one beside it as well because it was split in half all the way into the ground. They compensated us for the bushes and nails...but not enough to have the one dug out and replaced, the other cut back and shored up to try to save it. I am happy with the roof, not so much with their subcontractors and compensation. Ask lots of questions."

"We contracted in late December for Roofing Inc. to install a new Interlocking Roof. Once we finalized the deal it took about 2 weeks to have the materials delivered and work to begin. On the first day of the project the front of the house was stripped of the old roof material and about 1/4 of the new roof installed. We were impressed that there was very little refuse in the yard and the amount of work that was accomplished on the first day. Of course everything can't go right with any project, in conversing with the crew chief I did not mention that we live about 14 miles from everywhere. Also the salesman did not inform him either. We were unable to be here for the first day and when we did speak with the crew chief, he said that they nearly ran out of gas and did not have lunch the first day. We felt really bad about that but that set back did not effect the professionalism or diligence of the crew. On the second day they completed the installation of the front roof, removed the old roof on the rear and prepared the bare unlayment to weather the rain due the next day. We weathered the storm with no leaks. Thursday brought the sun and our new roof. It looks great and the craftsmanship is excellent. i would recommend Roofing inc and the Interlock roof for anyone that is looking for a roof that will last a lifetime."
