"If I could give them a zero I would. They tell you what you need to hear to get your business then don’t deliver on it. After speaking to Stacey multiple times about the truck and being assured it would be a 53’ truck they arrived with 2 box trucks not large enough for the quoted price. When we called to have them rectify the problem, Stacey refused to assist us and turned everything over to Pauline. Pauline was rude, condescending and called us a liar multiple times. She refused to help us when the smaller trucks arrived. We had spoken to her prior to making the wire transfer about delivery. Delivery was supposed to be Thursday. She claims we never had that conversation even though we did. It was even in writing in an email she claims she never received. As the truck was packed the first thing they did was drop a box of China not packed in a moving box. My refrigerator hit the floor in the vestibule because one person attempted to take it out and it was too heavy for him. As they packed the trucks which only held 4000 cubic foot, when they knew we had 4053 they couldn’t fit all the boxes on the trucks. So they up charged us and put the wardrobe boxes with my gowns, husbands suits and most of our good clothes along with the mattresses strapped to the back of the trucks with rain coming. The belongings were to be transferred to a 53’ truck but Pauline changed her mind so she didn’t have to refund us empty space and could charge us more because they didn’t send the proper trucks. Upon delivery my good dining room table had a chunk out of the corner of the table. This had been the worst moving experience ever. I’ve moved by moving companies 3 times now and would never ever ever recommend Best American Movers. They should actually be named Worst American Movers!!!! They claim your satisfaction is their priority. It’s not. Pauline refused to make sure we were satisfied with the services we received. She refused to make their errors right."

"Do yourself a favor and PICK ANOTHER COMPANY If I could give zero stars I would 1. The night before my move they called trying to increase my rate which we had already agreed upon weeks prior in and estimate which was overestimated 2. They were 30 minutes late. And they 3rd guy was an hour late (but he was free because I refused to pay the upcharge they tried to get me to agree to the night prior) 3. Complaints about moving from a 3rd floor 4a. Damaged the stand 1 of my older televisions sits on. I replaced it for 20 bucks no big deal. Scratched my dresser. It’s old and I want a new one no big deal again. Left there wrapping plastic on a few items after I was assured they would not during my estimate. I had a bunch of other things to go in the trash no big deal again. 4. They damaged my BRAND new television. Worst part is during the estimate I asked if I should purchase a tv box and they assured me they could move it without incident. 5. Accused me of lying when I said my tv was undamaged prior to the move. But the lines are visible on my tv when it’s off so there no way they would have noticed 6 . Unresponsive when I questioned about the status of my insurance claim,. It’s been i month and I still can’t get a straight answer from them I should have held my final payment but they informed me that an insurance claim couldn’t be filed without it. I’ve informed my friends who referred me to this company of their negligence and they are no longer recommending them."

"This was our third and by far, biggest move using Gentle Giant movers. They are incredible! We always expect disaster (other movers)--we've been there--but Mitch's crew was outstanding in every way. This move involved going from a townhouse with stairs to a much larger home. Every employee goes through a sort of boot camp to address every kind of item, like moving a piano up and down stairs. Every item is carefully wrapped. The move of every item is deliberate and unhurried. We had large and awkward items, even marble topped furniture. Out of a daylong move one marble top had cracked despite their careful packing, and they had it repaired and back to us in 3 weeks. There was also zero damage to either our high-gloss townhome floors, or to our freshly painted home's walls. This crew was young, positive, collaborative, and outgoing. They even moved from the lower level some items we had stored in the house. Items were perfectly placed, and they even fine-tune placement if needed during a final walk-around. From booking to the actual move, they are utterly careful, pleasant, and professional. Reasonable pricing for work provided, highly recommend their services. A+"

"Awful Experience!!! I would give them negative stars if I could! Transit Systems is a terrible company with horrible customer service, and they subcontracted with an even worse company called Metropolitan Warehouse & Delivery. I paid $1,500 for 'white glove service' to have a dining room table, 3 table leaf extenders, six wooden dining chairs and an antique sewing table moved from Memphis to KC. The guy showed up and stacked the furniture on top of each other in the truck without any packing material (no blankets, not bubble wrap, no cardboard) just wood touching wood. My brother-in-law took pictures, and wouldn't sign the paperwork. The guy got mad, shut the truck door and drove off with my stuff. We called both companies and they said they could not do anything until the stuff arrived. It took 3 weeks for the truck to arrive and they sent an email saying it arrived at a warehouse in Nashville but would not tell me what condition it was in. It was delivered two months later in pieces. All the broken table legs and chair arms and broke table leaf dumped in a box with no padding and the box had all kinds of rips and wholes in it. All of my chairs were scratched up, there was a huge round water mark, where some idiot set a drink on my sewing table. And it is now 4 months later and I can't even get them to return my email or phone messages. I'm having to take legal action. They hire people who are inept of doing their job well and lack integrity. Businesses are run from the top down so that tells you a lot about the kind of people running both companies... ZERO INTEGRITY about doing the right thing for their customers & ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Don't use them. You will not get the service you pay for and have damaged furniture on top of that."
