Worst moving experience ever!!!

Long story short... I booked service with Elliot's moving company early in the month. My order was to include a 26 ft truck and 2 movers. I was confirmed.
On the day of my move, His movers were scheduled to start moving my home at 9 am. 2 hours pass, still no movers. I'm calling the company, and there is no answer, I'm getting sent to voicemail, which I'm leaving and of course I got no callbacks. I finally decide to call from a different number bc I feel I'm being avoided, and mr Elliot picks up the phone... Not very excited to hear that it was me on the line.
He lies and says the are on the way, but now even more hours have passed and still no one has arrived. I call Elliot back.. No answer.
His movers finally show, almost 5 hours later and guess what, they didn't bring a 26 foot truck, instead they bring a 17 ft truck with a bed already on the back of it.
I express my disappointment and they tell me they can make several trips since the truck is smaller, but since I'm paying them by the hour, it would cost me more. I don't think so!!
I call Elliot to tell him I'm not paying more for the huge inconvenience and he tells his drivers to leave. He claimed he would send a bigger truck. Later did I find out by hearing a convo between him and his staff, that all trucks were sold out.
He left me hanging. No more drivers showed up, no trucks and he avoided my call for the rest of the day.
I later saw on his Facebook page that he was partying that night at some local club that he had checked in at. Good for you Elliot!!! Atleast you had a great night. Unlike the innocent customer that u left hanging. Thanks.

Very pleased with this company!!! We had to move out of our apartment 4 days before Christmas and had the stress of traveling to see family and making sure we had all Christmas gifts bought and wrapped on top of the move. The movers text us ahead of our appointment letting us know that they could arrive early if we were ready. They moved all of our things in about 2 hours for only $150!! Both men were very professional and nice to work with. We are in the process of renovating a house (which is why our things went to a storage unit) and will definitely be calling Relocation Specialists soon when we are ready to get into our new home!!!

It went really well.  The men were professional and strong.  Although they arrived late on both occasions, they worked steadily and would not even stop for lunch or breaks.

They ensured they knew what I wanted and did a good job fitting as much as possible into the pods taking good care of my belongings.  The took apart the beds, dresser/mirrors and disconnected the appliances.

These were some really nice and polite men and they worked really hard.

I had a great experience with Elliot and I aim to use him again.  He was so professional and helpful, he really put my mind at ease during a very stressful experience! I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.  

They are very hard workers. They have an excellent price. They were very respectful and helpful. They never complained once about moving my things to a third floor apartment. Nothing was lost or damaged.

Late showing up. Late dropping my things off, a 1 day moved ended up being a 2 day move. Elliot called me all kind of names including a *****. The cops were called and there is a report on file. He hit my best friend who is a female, we decided not to press charges because all the addresses of the owner seemed sketch. Elliot threw my belongings in water but the ultimate finale, the owner Elliott p***** on my brand new couch!

i had already booked Relocation Specialist before checking Angie's list.  After seeing the previous reviews, I was very concerned.  I ask them to be there at 10am on Saturday morning to start the move.  Billy & Eugene arrived early and when they found out we weren't quite ready to start, they said "No problem we'll go grab some coffee and come back".  They were back and ready to go at 10am sharp.  They were very meticulous and careful, wrapping all furniture in blankets and be very careful not to hit the walls as they moved things out.  They treated our belongings as if they were their own and were very professional and courteous. 
I would highly recommend these guys to anyone without reservation.  
As far as price goes, they didn't come up with any hidden charges and still beat a national mover by at least 50%.  We had been quoted $1700 by the national mover and another local mover was willing to match their hourly rate but wanted a $900 truck charge!!

Check the Better Business Bureau because I forgot to before hiring them. They have an F rating that is not resolved. 
Horrible attitude after being 5 hours late. Yes 5 with zero phone calls. First they forgot the time of the move then I had to call and ask where they were as I was relocating to another state that day. They never called. I had to call them. They waited until the end of the move to tell me they could not fit all of my items into the truck, prior to that they said they would be able to. I reminded them I was driving one way. I had to pay extra money to come back and get my items. I am a patient person and decided I would make the best of it. 
The movers who unloaded their items stated it was the worst moving job they have ever seen and could not believe licensed movers did this. I am not even sure if they are licensed. Items were broken, scratched, dented and they did not even load all of my head board pieces. I am here with a partial bed. That should have all got onto the truck together. He cannot take criticism as I explained that being late happens but you must pick up the phone and communicate. You cannot just abuse 5 hours of someones day and expect them to smile at you once you finally decide to arrive. 
I used them because they were the cheapest however I am not spending an additional 300.00. I could have hired professional movers to load, drive and unload with the final tally I am now spending. There's more but the moral of the story is to pay the extra money for professionalism and for the peace of mind. You get what you pay for. This was an expensive and frustrating lesson.

I am very impressed.  I decided at the last minute to hire help for our move, I am very glad I did.
I contacted the Relocation Specialists on the Saturday before my move (4 days prior) and they quickly fit me into their schedule.  I asked for a 14ft. Truck and 2 Men.  I got a 24ft. Truck and 3 Men!  They were on time, polite and professional.  They came prepared with hand trucks, blankets and tools to disassemble/reassemble furniture.
When they arrived, they reconfirmed the pricing, what services I needed, and when the contract started.  It was very clear and up front, no guess work or confusion.
I have one large piece of furniture (~300 lbs.) that needed to go upstairs in our new house (17 steps up) they all worked together and got it upstairs quickly without damaging the furniture or the house!  I didn't think it was possible, but they made it look easy
I would like reccommend their services and will use them the next time I need help moving.
