"We first had to get a service to come trace were the leak originated. Superior hooked us up with a good company for that. After that was done, Superior Plumbing came out to see what needed to happen. The leak turned out to be under our driveway. But Vinny and David were able to fix the leak without breaking up the concrete. They did an amazing job! They have so much knowledge and shared with us why our pipes keep leaking. Our water pressure was too high. They recommended installing a regulator to reduce our pressure. They fixed the leak and installed the regulator in one day. They know what they're doing, and I would highly recommend using them. I will be calling them again for our next plumbing need."

"Overall great work by the team. We hired them to come out and install a drain because my driveway kept pooling water when it rained. So they (really just one guy) installed a catch basin and drain to the backyard. We haven't had a rain since, so can't comment on overall quality yet. But I did wash the driveway and the water went to the backyard. They came in at about half price as another company offering the same work. They came out, quote a good price, and did the work all in about 3 days."

"Jeremy assessed the problem and gave us a few scenarios with prices. Before jumping to the most expensive solution, he suggested replacing the toilet first (and explained why). When asked, he recommended an $89 toilet at Lowes and told us why - this alone saved money. When he came back 3 days later (to fit our schedule), he removed the toilet and looked in the lines, only to find a root/vines. But instead of jumping to the conclusion of a broken line, he investigated further to find the pipes weren't broken at all. After a quick clean out and installing the new toilet, he was done. It took only 2.5 hours. Jeremy was professional, friendly, and forthcoming with information. We would definitely call him again and easily recommend him."

"Had a clog that I couldn't fix. James arrived the same afternoon that I called, fixed the clog and even replaced the pipes I had removed. In and out in less than 30 minutes, with a great rate. Highly recommend!"

"Current update as of 12/2/2022 .... Three of Dry Pros Representatives came to my home to fully analyze the problem of the French Drain and the damage it caused. All were very cordial, apologetic and wanted to correct the problems. We were all in full agreement on the necessary action that needed to be taken in a timely manner. The three Dry Pro Representatives said Dry Pro strives to maintain satisfied customers. Poor quality service in putting a French drain across the front of my home brick wall. They used solid pipe that was not perforated, and it has caused rain to saturate my soil and build up underneath, causing damage to the driveway, brick wall, and joists. It demonstrates that no testing was performed when it was completed, and there was no follow-up for about six weeks afterwards. Update 1-4-2023----I would like to update the project with Dry Pro, they have fully completed the job by replacing without charge a new French Drain. They gave me the cost of the driveway, I was forced to put in June of 2021. The customer representative was very cordial to me as a customer, he understood exactly what the problem was and took care of it without any questions they exercise great quality service and reputable name for Dry Pro. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs this type of work!"

"This is the second time I have hired a drainage contractor. The company before Sealtech buried about 50 concrete pavers in the trench while I was away at Lowes. Needless to say I did not call them back. Sealtech sent a three man crew out. They dug up the sod (Bermuda) and saved it to put back. Then they hand dug a trench about 200 feet. They cut out four feet of concrete very neatly, then installed a 4-inch schedule 40 PVC pipe (the thick stuff), not the corregated black junk. They captured one gutter and installed a drain basin where water would mass during heavy rain. The crew did not damage any utilities during the entire process After they filled in the trench and placed the sod back you could hardly tell anything was done. I can say I am highly satisfied. I cannot wait for the first heavy rain."

Customers say: Super punctual

"When I called Kevin to request a consultation, I was at my wit's end with a continuing yard drainage problem. I had obtained lots of input and multiple proposals from other sources, but I just wasn't convinced that those approaches were going to solve the problem to my satisfaction. After speaking with Kevin, it was easy for me to place my trust in him to see this project through. During the consultation phase, Kevin took the time to listen to all of my concerns, look at pictures and videos of the mess in my yard, and explain what he would suggest and why. He provided me with a proposal just a few hours after our meeting, and he answered my follow-up questions promptly. My husband and I decided to hire his company to install a drain with several catch basins and "branches" across the length of our backyard, to place another drain just outside our crawlspace door, to extend two downspouts further from our home, to create a swaile to help direct the flow of water away from the side of the house, and to core plug/add topsoil/seed/fertilize/straw in an effort to have a yard instead of a mud pit. (We have subsequently also purchased two trees from Kevin; his crew just delivered and installed those as well.) When his crew arrived to begin working, they were courteous and knowledgeable. Kevin visited the worksite frequently, and he and his crew leader kept me updated about the status of the project. They all continually went the extra mile to answer my questions, provide great care instructions for the new grass and trees, and do what they could to help me address watering issues. After it rained like crazy earlier this week, Kevin and his guys showed up (without my even having to ask) to tend to the new grass seed and rehab it after the storm. It is clear to me that Kevin takes pride in his company's work, and he has shown ownership over this project. I feel reassured knowing that, if I call with questions or concerns, he will be responsive and helpful. I'm looking forward to working with Kevin James Landscape for some (hopefully more fun!) projects in the future, and I recommend them highly."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

In some cases, operating a snake can damage your drain and pipes. This depends on the overall condition of your pipes and how gently you operate the auger. For instance, older galvanized pipes covered in zinc are susceptible to scratches when using a drain snake. Additionally, it’s common for newbies to apply too much force when extending the snake, leading to scratches and related damage. You can also crack the porcelain with an electric auger if you’re snaking a toilet drain. If you’re using a manual snake or auger, the risk is minimal.

Professional plumbers use many high-grade chemicals to unclog drains. Many use hydrochloric acid, known as muriatic acid, when it comes to extreme blockages.

You should flush your AC drain line once every three months to keep it clear of debris and buildup. Keeping your AC drain line clean prevents clogs, backups, mold growth, and extra wear on your AC unit. If you live in a humid area or have several furry pets, up your cleaning schedule to once a month.

Snakes can occasionally enter homes through shower drains, although it’s quite rare. This can happen when they follow sewer pipes or accidentally find their way into plumbing systems. To minimize the risk, consider installing drain covers or stoppers on your shower drains. Always keep drains closed when they’re not in use, especially in areas where snakes are known to be active.

As a general rule of thumb, it’s best to clean your linear drain every two to three months to prevent debris buildup. However, if you notice it draining slowly or an odor from your drainpipes, it’s best to clear the clogged drain and maintain it more often. If you let a clog go for too long, you may have to invest in the price of professional shower drain cleaning, which costs about $225.
