"Almost two years ago, I hired a company to install a large retaining wall built with 6 x 6 wooden beams. This was a mistake. The wall did not drain properly and started to separate. This wall failure put my house at risk of sliding down a steep slope. I contacted Art Miller at Engineered Retaining Walls, LLC, and he immediately had a crew out to my property to brace up my house and prevent it from sliding down the slope while he removed the wooden retaining wall and replaced it with a Redi-Rock retaining wall to protect my home. The work is excellent, and so are the people at Engineered Retaining Walls. I highly recommend this company."

Dave was super engaged and very thoughtful about the design options that would address the water drainage concerns while being very attentive to our desire to have a very natural look, including us in all aspects of the project design and implementation. He ended up building a four tiered, terraced retaining wall, installed a gravel drainage system, stone steps and railing, and some additional landscape cleanup and grading. "I did not hire them right away. They gave me an estimate months earlier and kept following up. They were very good at getting right to it. They pulled up my old driveway in a very short period of time and graded everything. They really took care not to disregard my requests because I wanted it to be right. We finally settled on the most practical layout for drainage to flow properly. They also did a retaining wall at the same time with rear. I'm happy with the way it turned out. My only criticism is They had to work till late in the night to make sure the concrete smoothed out right. But they got it done right, so I'll leave them 5 stars."
