Jesse and specifically Brian are great. Brian continually keeps me posted on what’s going on with my job. I had severe damage to my home, roof and fencing from a tree falling on my house and two more that took off my electric panel and took out my fencing. Once I signed my contract, Summerlin got the electrician out there within a week. They also gota structural engineer out there first to make sure there was no foundation issues and got a structural engineer out again after his guys took down the ceilings and walls. I have been working with Jesse and his guys for a year now since Helene caused significant damage to my home. They redid almost the whole interior of my home and are now redoing my decks and fencing. Great to work with and responsive to calls and texts!! Highly recommend.

After Hurricane Helene, we lost nearly 100 feet of creekbank and 60 feet of covered deck, leaving our home’s entire creekside foundation exposed and undercut by the new width of Cattail Creek, in the heavily damaged area of Pensacola, North Carolina. Summerlin Exterior Solutions and Hazy River Earthworks handled this complex restoration with outstanding professionalism and care. Their crews stabilized the site, repaired related interior structural damage, rebuilt and reinforced the creekbank, and reconstructed the deck and cathedral-style roof with precision and skill. Communication and customer service were excellent from start to finish, and the final result far exceeded our expectations. They also worked closely with us, with detailed invoices, to help with our insurance claims. My wife and I are deeply grateful for their craftsmanship, responsiveness, and integrity. It’s been a real pleasure working with both teams, and we recommend them without hesitation.

My home flooded during Hurricane Helene and Jesse and his awesome crew came to the rescue. So much work to be done but they were able to knock it all out and I’m so happy with the outcome.

He and his team have rebuilt a good portion of my home and do quality work from drywall to framing and more. Jesse and Brian keep in constant communication and handle the insurance stuff as well. These guys were FANTASTIC. Our 580 square foot deck has insane angles, two staircases, dry decking for an outdoor living space underneath the deck, and complicated joists and posts. They did an incredible job paying attention to detail and symmetry. Our deck was 50 years old and these guys had to tear it down and rebuild it with new materials. We found some issues with the top plates and instead of just bandaging it and moving on like most companies would do, they fixed it and made it better than it was before. We have a large outdoor living area underneath the deck so we chose Duxxbak dry decking. If youâ re not familiarâ ¦this is literally the hardest material to work with on an angled deck and they figured out every little tricky detail. They even created pieces that donâ t exist to make it work. I was especially impressed with Johnâ s mind :) The only negative to this material was that there was a lot of waste. This made the cost more expensive than any of us were anticipating. With that being said, Jesse worked with us in every way possible and couldnâ t have been any more genuine and honest throughout the process. Not only does it look beautiful, but it is structurally sound and will last forever. I truly do believe that you get what you pay for. Their labor may be a little more expensive than other quotes you may get, but I can promise you theyâ re worth every penny. Theyâ re detail oriented, clean, professional, and extremely good at what they do. They even worked in the rain some days and always left it clean when they left for the day. As a real estate agent, I see a lot of terrible decks and I can tell you that I will be recommending these guys to ALL of my clients in need of repair or new builds. 10/10 recommend Summerlin Exterior Solutions!

Overall we had an excellent experience with Summerlin Exterior Solutions. He has a hardworking, skilled crew who are reliable, thorough, courteous and responsible. We had a custom designed cedar fence built and they built it just as we wanted it. Outstanding work! . We are very very pleased.

They also did tile work. Excellent work and finished product is great. Very detailed. Prep and clean up was great. Repaired any damages done.

Very pleased with the work Jesse and crew did on our new fence. Jesse is very responsive to questions and replies quickly to text messages. Our yard is challenging (to say the least!!) due to rocks everywhere that had to be dealt with to set the fence posts. Huge shout out to Travis and Kenny who are very hard workers who got the job done!! A few challenges with weather and other issues beyond their control, but overall VERY pleased with the result. Thanks guys!!!

Jesse and his crew were outstanding. Jesse was careful to match the materials from the existing deck so the stairs matched perfectly. This increased the quote considerably. However, I cannot say enough about the professionalism, and his ability to deliver exactly what the customer envisioned. His crew was amazing. Unprofessional, poor quality of work, untimely, and my favorite, when I commented on lack of attention to detail Jesse (the owner) responded with "I'm trying to run a business. I don't have time to pay attention to detail". Not to mention that they didn't properly secure the threshold at the top of the stairs. So, someone fell down it. Literally use anyone else.

Jesse and his crew are quality builders who know how to provide great customer service along with craftsmanship. The deck and stairs they built for us are beautiful and sturdy. Jesse kept me aware of challenges as they arose and was very responsive which is hard to find nowadays.

Jesse helped us come up with the right configuration for our new deck. The deck is off the 2nd floor over a steep downhill slope. It is super sturdy and well built. Meticulous workmanship. We were very pleased with skill of workmen, their professionalism and the final product. And we are thrilled with our new deck!
