In May 2023, Billy turned on my irrigation system and inquired why my backflow had to be screwed on in the Spring and taken off for the Winter. No one had ever given me this information and, unfortunately, he talked me into allowing him to glue it on permanently. He turned on my system and put me on his schedule to replace some of my popup rotors and possibly do some landscape trimming of bushes. I called him at least 3 or 4 times to inquire when he would come and do the work. Each time he commented that we were still on his schedule. I never heard from him again. Eventually, other irrigation specialists came out in October and said that the irrigation backflow needed to be removed for the Winter so it wouldn't freeze and possibly crack. I discovered that this piece should have NEVER been permanently attached and then had the added expense to remove it. I find his business practices to be unreliable and irresponsible. If he didn't want to do the work for us, he should have simply said so. He had also promised my wife, over and over, that he would return to do the landscaping. Why did he insist on misleading us for such a long time? We would not recommend his company.

"Backflow preventers are meant to be winterized (all water to be dispersed from the system via air) every year during freezing tempatures. I informed you that I your backflow was damaged and gave you the option of gluing or make it removable. My recommendation was to glue because of the winterization if done correctly would not freeze the backflow preventer. You opted to go with my recommendation. I can not control what another company's common practices are. As far as not reaching back out to you to do more work I informed your wife that I was no longer interested because she thought it was acceptable to try and give me a quiz on common landscaping practices. I didn't feel like I would be able to give her what she was looking for so I let her know that I was no longer interested"

Not well. Within weeks of project completion I started experiencing problems ……. Zone not working properly; severe leaking at valves. Billy never fixed the problems after repeated requests. Had to hire another company to fix the problems. Filed a small claim against BlueRidge. I was awarded $3500.00 on 2 separate occasions….. magistrate and arbitration hearings. You can document this with Hendersonville County Court. Case # 21 CVD 1636 Setzer v Hoots. Also check BBB, D+ rating I am a 94 year old woman and he is trying to scam me out of the court awards! BEWARE……” a wolf in sheeps clothing”

"He Filed a small claims case and the courts decided that he was not warranted getting the money back. This is because [Member Name Removed] (who is not a 94 year old woman) continue to mess with the system. He called me after the install letting me know that certain zones were not turning on. I responded and let him know that I would come over the following day and check it out. When i get there I find no problems and inform of this and that it was most likely user error with the zone controller. This happens a second time although it is a weekend and I let him know that I would be down on Monday. On Monday [Member Name Removed] informs me that him and his brother tried to work on the system over the weekend to try and get it repaired. Because of this I informed him that I could no longer warranty the system and any repairs would need to be paid for. In turn he filed a case in small claims [Member Information Removed] which I was able win."

Billy was great. He did exactly what he said he would do in the time he said it would take. The work was very good and we will definitely use him again. He was very professional, and communicated with us throughout the project.

Billy was amazing! He worked diligently to get all the work done that I had requested. He was quick to get me a quote as well as scheduling a time to come to estimate the work I needed done. He worked fast and it looks amazing. He was super friendly and respectful. Will 100% hire again!
