"I called Carolina Energy Conservation to have some new insulation put in my attic. The estimater came out within a few days of the phone call, and I received a detailed e-mail about what to expect. Matt gave me a good run down of what I needed to make my upstairs floor more comfortable. He called ahead of time, was on time, and was very professional. The estimate was for 4,000 board ft of insulation, 800 sq ft of radiant barrier installed, and an attic tent/hatch. Total cost was about $1600. They asked for a down payment of 30% up front, which I paid. Matt told me I would recieve a call to schedule the work within 1-2 business days. That never happened. After 1 week I called and spoke with Mary, who informed me their office manager who does schedules was out sick the previous week. She assured me he would call me back to setup a time for the work to be done. That never happened either. Fast forward another week. I called a 2nd time, and finally got an apointment setup for the following week. The two guys they sent to do the job were friendly and professional. After a few hours they let me inspect the work, and it was completed to my satisfaction. I normally have to set my AC to 73-74 in the summer to keep my upstairs comfortable, and the HVAC turns on quite often. Now I can set it to 76-77 and it remains comfortable, and the HVAC doesn't run as often. All in all I am happy with the overall experience, guess they just got hung up on scheduling."

"My wife and I were so pleased with Chris and his team from the work on our crawl space that we hired them to remove and install new insulation in our entire house. Due to a previous leak in the roof the insulation wasn't effective. All About Energy Solutions came in and removed all of the old insulation and put new insulation in. "Upstairs would not cool down with the unit on, called indoor mechanical and Robert and Josh came out within 24 hours. Did a lot of testing and looked everything over and turned out needed and entire new unit. Had a price same day and an appointment set. They were on time, professional, cleaned and made sure everything was running right and even checked to make sure the kids rooms had good air flow to keep them comfortable during these warm spring days in NC. Could not ask for a better outcome to a crappy situation that is going to happen eventually when you own a home. Indoor mechanical will be my go to for anything they offer."

"Sales rep, Tommy, was thoroughly entertaining while he explained the "basics" of roofing and the options available through CRC. He was very informative and confidant in their products and even suggested some tips on getting other proposals. I shouldn't have wasted my time with the "others", which were considerably less informative, more "pushy", and not really any less expensive (one of the "big name" competitors was actually a substantial amount higher).

The install process went extremely smoothly; the crew was on-time, very polite, and very efficient. The install supervisor kept me informed every step of the way and fixed some minor problems related to some hidden wood rot and documented everything with pictures (I wonder whether the competitors would have simply covered it up and left it to worsen???)

I expected to find pieces of shingles or nails around my house or in the landscaping but there was not one single scrap and absolutely no evidence of them being there except for the great looking new roof!

During the follow up visit to make sure I was completely happy with their roofing services, Van and Tommy mentioned that CRS also does attic insulation. After another educational description of the process, I accepted their very reasonable proposal and 2 days later the attic was insulated with no problems and absolutely no mess!!!

A few months have gone by and I'm extremely happy with both the new roof and the attic insulation!

The house is noticeably quieter (no more pitter patter of squirrel feet!) and I have already enjoyed a reduction in the heating/cooling costs since the HVAC system doesn't need to run as hard to keep the inside temp constant.

"Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."
