"We are one of a handful of new construction purchases (within the last year). During the build process, they were great to work with. Once we closed, all that changed. We have to run space heaters during the winter months (a brand new home) due to the design of the ductwork and Sussex wouldn't lift a finger, we have flooding at the entrance to our property, and once again, Sussex did nothing. We had fixtures in the wrong place, and some were not what we ordered at all, and guess what? they did nothing!!.. As we began to speak with others in the community, we learned of a horrible reputation throughout Helena, as well as, a horrible place to be employed. All in all, stay away from Suxxit construction at all costs. Money is their motivation, not happy families"

Your driveway is one of the first things people see when they look at your home, so repairing cracks, chips, and potholes can improve your home’s curb appeal and overall value. Repairing your driveway is also almost always more affordable than replacing it entirely—an average of $1,765 compared to the cost of replacing a driveway, which typically costs around $5,000.

Chip seal layers gravel and a liquid bitumen one at a time on-site, while asphalt directly pours a pre-combined mixture. Asphalt must be sealed, but it will last up to four times as long as chip seal driveways. Aesthetically, chip seal has a natural, rustic look compared to the traditional asphalt slab.

When asphalt cures, it typically changes from a very dark black hue to a lighter, more matte gray color. Cured asphalt also won’t be tacky or sticky to the touch or emit any odors from the asphalt mix. Additionally, the surface of fully cured asphalt won’t deform under any pressure.
