All Brands Appliance Service, Inc. has been in business in Missoula since 1993, located in the North Reserve Business Center since 2004. Our business has grown from 1 self employed owner to 3 service technicians, 1 service manager, an office assistant and a bookkeeper. Service includes in-home service to major home appliances, in-shop repairs, part sales for do-it-yourselfers as well as re-conditioned appliance sales. We are Factory Authorized for all brands sold in Missoula, including but not limited to: Whirlpool, Maytag, Kitchenaid,GE, Electrolux, Frigidaire, LG, Samsung, Viking, Subzero/Wolf/Asko, Dacor, Fisher/Paykel, and Speed Queen. Our company is licensed and insured. Our technicians attend ongoing factory training and go through background checks and drug screening, which has become an industry standard. Technician was courteous and effective. He kept us informed about what he was doing and what he found. Diagnosed and repaired the problem. He had the part with him. Worked efficiently. Charges were fair: the controller board on line was $200 and they charged $198. Might add that when I called for a service appointment, the person answering the phone was very professional.

It didn't go at all..not sure if he does not check his e-mails in regards to this sight or if he is just ignoring the request.  In any case I am sorry I wasted my money on this sight to prevent this exact situation of no response.  I expected  services on this sight were reliable but was mistaken.

Not sure how to amend or edit my last less-than-happy review, BUT

... after the technician learned of my dryer failure, he came out the very same day and got the part ordered and installed in less than a week. And he was very sweet when I read him the riot act about not believing me when I said something was wrong -- maybe he has a point about it having to break to find the problem, but please don't tell me I don't know my machines, cars, pets or kids -- I KNOW when something is wrong.

Dispatcher/office manager not so good -- she told me it would be 10 days before the technician could even come and evaluate the problem -- not at all acceptable -- that's when I wrote my nasty review.

The people in the office setting up the date and time and getting all the appliance data needed were great....friendly and helpful and just really nice. The repair tech showed on time and was just a delight to work with. Knowledgeable and fast and honest.....He and I discussed the cost of replacing the motor plus another service charge and I decided to just scratch the old machine and go get a new one. Very little more cost and would have better warranty coverage. I was really impressed with him...wish I could remember his name but kudos to both he and the rest of the Allbrands staff.

We have used All Brands several times to repair our oven, refrigerator, dryer and freezer. While the representative in the shop (If you go in looking for an appliance) is gruff, pushy and rude, the guys who come out to service the appliances are GREAT! They are always on time, they make appointments easily and the work is quick and excellent. The repair men are very knowledgeable and we are comfortable having them in our home. When these guys fix something it stays fixed. They are straight shooters who will not try to sell you something you don't need. They are spot on to estimate every time.

Water dispenser died on Sunday, ice was forming inside freezer, things getting warmer on the top section. Called Allbrands on Monday; scheduled an appointment with a really pleasant, kind person for Tuesday; the repair person showed up right on time, figured out instantly what the problem was, fixed it, was intent on keeping everything clean and dry for me ... plus gave me very good adv-ice (pun intended) for afterwards, very kind, jolly, competent and trust-instilling. THANKS!!!

I called and got an answering machine. They called me back within thirty minutes and promptly scheduled an appointment for that afternoon, which was great. They originally gave me a "time frame" of 2:00-4:00 p.m. and I told them I couldn't meet them until 3:30 p.m. and they said that would be fine - they would meet me at 3:30 p.m.
The repairman was there when I arrived, very pleasant and helpful. He not only completed the repairs I requested but also gave me helpful information about my washer. There was a lot of fabric softener build up in it and explained to me how I could fix this.
He left the three prong cord and extra dryer vent materials for me, which I appreciated. He did all of this within about a half hour.

The All Brands repair tech, Jon, arrived on time and was professional. I explained that another repair company had come out and left the job unfinished. As he went through his troubleshooting procedures, he explained to me what he was doing and he didn't mind me looking over his shoulder and asking questions. Eventually, he discovered that the wires in the back of the fridge that provide power to the ice maker had not been plugged back in by the previous technician that had worked on our ice maker. That was that. It works fine now.

It is nearly impossible to get businesses to travel outside of Missoula, MT to work on things at our home (over 30 miles from town). Allbrands had a person drive out the very next day once they verified we were not in an emergency situation. So they were prompt and called our home before they showed up, which is a very nice thing.
I have had problems with my refrigerator/freezer icing up and then pouring water down into the refrigerator section. I have had to completely defrost the unit multiple times a year to keep it from running non-stop, and spoiling our food in pools of water. The repairman went straight to work. The drain line was frozen solid, so he installed a clamp to the heating cable that defrosts the freezer, and ran a wire down that into our drain hose. This should keep the flow of water going to the drain pan rather than flowing into my fridge.
My wash machine suddenly stopped working when I moved it over to carry in a new/used dryer. The repairman quickly found an air leak in the hose that carries an air bubble up to the cut off. Rather than drive all the way back into Missoula for the part and charge us extra mileage, he repaired the hose with plumber’s tape and electrical tape. The machine works wonderfully again, and if the tape wears through again, we will be able to just call and have them bring out that part.
Our 13 year old dryer finally died, and my mother-in-law gave us her dryer. Unfortunately it was a 3 prong and out home has a 4 prong dryer outlet. In less than 5 minutes he had the 4 prong plug off our old dryer and onto the new/used 3 prong
dryer. In 40 minutes, I had 3 appliances repaired.
It looks like they charge $1.25 a mile in mileage, so about half of my bill was mileage, but it was completely worth it! $187.90 to get someone this far out of town saved me from having to haul heavy appliances into town, and kept me from replacing any of the three appliances they repaired.
The repairman was professional, friendly, looked for cost saving options, and had obviously done all this stuff many a time. Also, as he was leaving, my husband recognized him from coming out and working on our place 5 years ago when we were setting it up, and “Brandon” said he remembered coming out. So the company must be good to its employees if they have kept him for over 5 years, which speaks well of how the business treats its employees.
I will definitely call Allbrands first off if anything else breaks down!

I took my dryer in one day and was called two days later with diagnostic information and cost. Bo said that it would be ready the next day. I was very pleased with the speed this was accomplished and the cost of the repairs.

On the afternoon of April 3, 2013, the outer glass on the lower oven door on my Maytag range spontaneously shattered. I live in the Mission Valley of NW Montana, many miles from appliance repair services. After an internet search and a call to Maytag, I called Allbrands Appliance Service in Missoula , MT. They were able to locate replacement glass and have it shipped to their location. On April 11, I received a call that the glass had arrived in Missoula. The oven door is easily removed from the range so arrangements were made for me to take the oven door to them (about 45 miles) and the appointment was scheduled for around noon on April 16. I arrived about 1/2 hour early and left the door at their shop while I did some shopping. It was 1:30 PM when I returned to the Allbrands shop and they had the new glass installed, ready for me to take the door home. The glass cost $104.00 and labor was $45.00. Much better than buying a new range. Very courteous people and easy to work with.
