"We had a (finished) basement that was leaking water during heavy rain. I solicited bids from four different companies, all of which proposed to do basically the same thing. Atlas was not only the cheapest, but they also said they could do it without tearing out the drywall or installing a sump pump (they saddled the drain system onto the main sewer line and added a backflow valve -- in the city, the waste and storm sewers are combined). Mike, the owner, was very friendly and James, the team leader, was very professional and helpful. The basement has gone a year -- including through the torrential downpours of December 2015 -- without leaking. There was some persistent leaking around the egress window. They had installed a drain pipe in the bottom of it and tied it into the rest of the perimeter drain system. It has leaked a little bit, and Atlas has come out 4 different times before concluding that the rain is hitting the shoddily-installed window and leaking in. I like knowing how things work, so Mike showed me exactly what was happening and -- despite my initial uncertainty -- I'm convinced it is the window. But since they happily came out repeatedly to check out and test the issue, I'm convinced that they'll honor their 20-year warranty."

"I contacted Green Turf for a recommendation to a gutter downspout runoff problem. The discharge was causing soil erosion.
Green Turf was very reliable for the estimation, install & follow-up.
Chris met me for the initial evaluation at the agreed time. He made a recommendation to install a drain for each downspout.
He sent sent a proposal soon after our meeting. The proposal did not have a start or completed-by date.
I called Chris and we agreed on Nov. 30th as a to-be-completed date.
The installation was done Nov. 15th. Chris came out for a work scope review with me and the installers to make sure the job was done right (good practice).
I asked Chris what the turf would look like after the install. He said they try to minimize the amount of turf damage.
The installers did an excellent job installing the drains and , most remarkably, the turf appears nearly undisturbed.
This is really something considering the large trenches dug for the drain pipes.
Chris said someone will be back in the spring to seed any thin/bare spots in the turf.
Also there was a bit of soil left over and the installers put it where I asked.
When the installers finished I reviewed the work before they left- BEAUTIFUL JOB!
Chris came out the day after the install to review the work as well as my opinion. VERY SATISFIED!
Green Turf sent me a drawing of the installation.
My experience with contractors has not always been this smooth.
