Remodel MastersWe were looking for a reputable but quality company to do flooring & countertops in kitchen, as well as our master bath. We selected Remodel Masters, and glad we did. They took the time to work with us in picking our selections for bathroom & kitchen. It did take some time but they finished on schedule. Their work was meticulous such as making sure backsplash was centered & securely placed. They are probably not the cheapest but the quality of work & time spent making sure the work wasin correctly. A 1 Home Renovations and Painting IncFonda and Steve run a fantastic company, excellent communication and quality of craftsmanship. We used them 1st to build decking over our back patio and a privacy wall, to enclose our hot tub. A few months later we had them remodel our kitchen which included adding new cabinets, painting existing cabinets, countertops, backsplash, lighting and plumbing. They were always prompt, dependable, cleaned up after each day’s work and extremely easy to communicate with. We have had quite a bit of things done in our yards over the years and I must say this company is far ahead of some we have used. The quality is exceptional but something you may not consider is communication. That is every bit as important as the work. We definitely recommend All Weather Decks out of Gardner, KS. By the way we had three different crews - one for concrete work, one for paver/stone work and one for the pergola. All equally as good. The project supervisor was excellent as well.

We just finished our second kitchen renovation completed by Brackmann and could not be happier with the entire experience. They had performed a very modest cosmetic update to our previous home’s kitchen and now a complete rebuild of our current kitchen, which was more than twice as large. It’s difficult to find great contractors, so I wanted to leave a detailed review of somebody we’ve had an n=2 experience with. Everyone from the bidding process (Jeff), project management (Jason), and execution (Jason, Bobby, Zach, Jamie, Caleb) was cognizant that they were becoming part of your home. They were onsite on time, worked constantly through the day, took modest and well-deserved breaks, locked up the house, and were friendly and communicative when interacting with my family. They cleaned up and tidied daily, kept tools and materials organized in small locations, and were communicative about upcoming events that may cause temporary disruption to your schedule or home. Project management was also really impressive; Jason had to remember so many things for this job, in addition to other jobs for different clients. He had a daily timeline ready before the project began, which they adhered to nearly perfectly. He was prompt with emails, text messages, and addressed all questions that we had about process or the work being performed. I don’t think there was anything during the process that gave them much pause; decisions were made carefully but rather quickly. If we had questions about the workplan or work in progress, Jason answered those questions willingly and would go “above and beyond” to ensure that we understood what they were doing and the approach they were using. Brackmann has a great working relationship with their subs (for custom cabinets and countertops) and they do multiple projects together. During the process, we did change our mind on a couple of minor items or had small additions to scope; Brackmann was able to handle all of our requests smoothly without affecting the timeline drastically. Price was extremely competitive, especially considering the quality of materials, subcontractors, service, attention to detail, and experience. They are very transparent in the bidding process with respect to overhead and profit, down to the cent. Jason kept an up-to-date change order to capture the unexpected costs and our in-process additions, so we knew exactly where we were on price and how our asks affected the bottom line. A kitchen is the most complex room in a home in terms of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and finishes. To tackle this room in a month, from demo to punchlist, is really tough to do. Brackmann has talented personnel, great overall communication, and solid subcontractor relationships. We recommend them highly.

If you choose Mountain Construction for your remodel of any size on your home you will not be disappointed by the slightest! Everything from Glenn's crew showing up on time daily to cleaning up end of work day was consistent. From the electricians, painters, plumbers, tile setter, to counter top company was nothing short of professional. Glenn and Rob (carpenter) checked in at least twice a day would inform you what was happening daily and what your job was weekly to go pick out (the exciting part for any home owner) Seeing changes daily was always happening and so fun! I'm a stay at home mom (my husband works quite a bit being away from the home) and I always felt so comfortable with everyone in and out of my house, there was never any awkwardness.

Fantastic. The job was time-sensitive because extremely cold temperatures were threatening to freeze the basement pipes again. Chris got materials and immediately sent me a photo of the receipt from Home Depot. Then he did a extremely neat and professional job of fabricating and installing a custom insulated panel over the basement door. No more drafts! No more freezing pipes! Excellent communication.
