Veteran owned with 20 years of experience, Lake Heating and Cooling is committed to excellence every aspect of our business. We uphold a standard of integrity bound by fairness, honesty and personal responsibility. Our distinction is the quality of service we bring to our customers. Accurate knowledge of our trade, combined with our ability, is what makes us true professionals. Above all, we are watchful of our customers' interests and make their concerns the basis of our business.

"Wouldn?t say worst service ever but damn neat close. They never show up when they say they?re going to (going on 6 or 7 missed ?appointments? now), they replace your equipment with standard lesser quality equipment than you had, will order SEVERAL costly repair parts not knowing if that?s the problem and then also take days to come back with said part, ?24 hour emergency? is a huge joke as well and they really don?t think they should have to come back and fix their mistakes. Not to mention my lost wages from their missed appointments and now ridiculously high electric bill caused by a mistake they can?t seem to find the time to come fix. **DEFINITELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!**"

Heating Oil questions, answered by experts

Most HVAC companies charge a flat service call fee of between $75 and $150, which includes traveling to your home and inspecting your system to find the underlying problem. Keep in mind that these prices only include diagnostics and the actual repairs will usually be billed separately. If you’re calling for routine service, the service call will be included in your inspection and tune-up, with the total sitting around $150. Your prices could be a little higher if you have a very large home with multiple condensers and air handlers, as inspections and servicing take longer.

NATE-certified technicians may charge slightly higher service fees compared to non-certified technicians. This is because NATE certification signifies a higher level of expertise and professionalism, often leading to more efficient and effective HVAC repairs and installations. While the upfront cost may be marginally higher, NATE-certified technicians can potentially save you money in the long run by reducing energy consumption, preventing frequent breakdowns, and extending the life span of your HVAC system. When looking for a local HVAC company to hire, it never hurts to ask about NATE certifications.

For most systems, an annual HVAC system service is more than enough. Some homeowners prefer a twice-a-year visit to ensure the system is ready for the upcoming summer and winter seasons. If you need to call an HVAC pro more often than this, it may be time to check if your system is getting old enough for a replacement.

Yes, many providers offer organic or eco-friendly treatments. Confirm availability with your contractor.

Most maintenance checks take 2-5 hours, though extensive repairs may take longer.
