"Brady responded very quickly to my request for a quote to epoxy my new garage floor. The work was scheduled soon after. The day of the scheduled work was not ideal as we had to deal with high winds and cooling temperatures later in the day. This led to a few imperfections that were found when I inspected the floor after it had set for a couple of days. Brady was again very responsive, and scheduled the minor repairs promptly. There are a few different types of finishes to choose from for the final step of the project. 

Water-based polyurethane sealants emit fewer odors and fumes but dry quickly, which can pose a challenge when trying to get a smooth coat. It all depends on what you’re looking for in a floor. Cork flooring is certainly softer and more sound-absorbing than hardwood floors, and the two share very similar maintenance routines. That said, for some homeowners, the pristine appearance of hardwood floors may be more appealing, and they may be less prone to scratches and dents than cork flooring. Hardwood flooring also tends to be more expensive than cork flooring.

Technically, you can start tiling in a corner and work your way out. However, it's not traditionally how tiling is done. Instead, work from the bottom middle of the wall. Tile out the entire row with whole tiles before moving on to the next row. Once you finish installing all of the whole tiles, then you focus on tiling the corners.

The life expectancy of your laminate flooring is 10 to 30 years, depending on how well you maintain it. Unlike hardwood flooring, you cannot refinish laminate to prolong its lifespan. So while laminate is more budget-friendly, it does not last as long as hardwood. You can increase the lifespan of your floor by maintaining a regular cleaning schedule, using the right cleaning products, and wiping up spills promptly.
