"After 27 years, we finally decided that we could finally update our house with siding and windows. We had always said we would get Continental Siding to do it. Jerry O'Neal always projected the image that he had great employees and an even better product. Raul and his crew came out and did our windows. Was suppose to take a day and a half. Only took them one day and they didn't even take a lunch. I asked if I could fix them lunch, they said not until we're finished. I told them to let me know when they had about 30 minutes left, they probably though they had to humor the fat old lady, but I told them my windows were F***ING AWESOME! Richard came in and he was supposed to have a crew and one quit do to the heat. His other helper was on vacation and for a majority of the project, he was working alone. Tore the old stuff down and put the new product up almost entirely by himself. Got on to him for not wearing a hat because it was to hot and the next day he had one on. We wanted to make sure they had plenty of water. We gave them the remote to the garage so they could get water. They were very trustworthy. I thought Richard should have gotten extra money since he did so much by himself. He deserved a big bonus! The siding on my house looks just a F***ING AWESOME as my windows. Everyone at Continental was a pleasure to work with! They kept us in the loop for everything! If you're on the fence about windows and siding, you need to choose them. Financing was a breeze as well! CALLLL NOWWWWW!"

Fencing questions, answered by experts

Ideally, when you replace a fence post, you should also replace the concrete footing. The concrete bonds to your new post, creating a secure base. If you install a new post into old concrete, it won’t be as sturdy.

That said, it is possible. Sometimes the post will lift right out of the concrete. If not, you can use a high-lift car jack to try and lift the pole out of the footing. Put the new post into the same hole and backfill it with fast-setting concrete. Keep in mind, this won’t work well for metal posts.

Yes, finding compatible materials and finishes for seamless fixes.

Fabricating an aluminum fence costs about $4,350 on average, ranging from about $2,450 to $6,500. Your fencing costs can run as low as $750 or as high as $11,000 or more, depending on the fence's size, complexity, and geographic location. You should consider additional cost factors including the thickness of the aluminum, height of the fence, necessary permits, and custom colors.

To choose where to add a fence gate, know where fence gates shouldn’t go. For example, you should avoid placing gates over low spots on the ground where water can collect and form muddy puddles. Many ranchers install gates at the corner of a fence. Certain gate placements may also be required depending on the type of gate latch you use.

Customization options include coatings, privacy slats, and incorporating colors or ornamental elements to enhance aesthetic appeal.
