"I was pleased with the work. The owner, Curt Coglizer, was good to work with. Cole was the man in charge of the work and he was also good to work with. Luis painted the outside of our house and did an outstanding job. The Pella windows are good quality. The siding and wood rot repairs were also very well done. Overall, Homeworks did a very professional job. We signed a contract in May of 2018. Because Homeworks was very busy, they were not able to start on our house until April of 2019. The work was completed in June of 2019."

"No Customer Service at all. I signed a contract in April to to have 16 windows replaced in my home. When they came to install the windows, they had ordered the wrong windows for the front of my house. They also wrapped the trim around my windows (as per the contract) but wrapped them in white but they were supposed to be blue. They had someone come out and paint the wrap blue and told me they order the correct windows and I would have them in 4 weeks. It has now been 8 weeks and no one has contacted me so I started trying to contact them this week. I call the number listed on the business and they appear to use a service so while the person answers as their business all they can do is take a message and send it over to the "office" I left a message on 8/10/21 and no response, called again today 8/14/21 since I have still not heard from anyone and asked to talk to someone in the office and the person said he could just take a message and send it over. I would never recommend this company to anyone as my experience with them has been horrible and now I cant even talk to anyone at the actual company."

Other than regular cleaning, the only maintenance involved in having a glass block window is inspecting for cracks every year and applying sealer to the mortar joints if the blocks are set in masonry mortar. Glass block windows hold up well against wind and moisture better than traditional windows and are not prone to rot.

Their thickness depends on application, but most glass walls are typically 3/8 to 3/4 of an inch thick. Although it’s not as common, single panes of glass can also be 1 inch thick.

Most installations take 1-3 days, depending on the number of blocks and customization requirements.

Glass block windows last about 15 to 30 years, which is the same amount of time, if not slightly less, than standard windows. Standard windows last 20 to 50 years. You can extend the life of your glass block windows by resealing them every few years. Hiring a pro for installation is also key to windows that will function properly for years to come.
