I had Vlad come out a couple of months ago and look at a door that was shifting out of alignment every season. Several other handyman companies had already come out to give me an estimate on either bending my door hinges, cutting the door down to fit when the ground swells, or installing a completely new door. Vlad showed up and, within 60 seconds, indicated none of the aforementioned fixes were necessary and I should simply install a storm door and a wider latch plate for the door. He also indicated it would be helpful to plane down the corner that always rubs until the door could close fully again. All of this information he gave me free of charge. I bought the storm door and fixed the issue myself, per Vlad’s recommendations. Star Window Solutions is a great company and Vlad is a standup guy! I highly encourage everyone reach out to this vendor for your door and window needs. They are honest and affordable.

The repairman arrived at my residence about 11:15 am. He evacuated the issue with the patio door not opening and closing properly. He retrieved his tools from his vehicle and removed a screw from the side of the door and the door operated normally. He vacuumed out the track of the sliding door with my vacuum cleaner and he was finished. The entire process took about 20 minutes and I was billed $298. Disappointed with this application.

another company said they couldn't replace the rollers on the sliding glass door After the new rollers were put on the installers said the wood was rotted Eddie said he could do it ? replaced the wood with PC V adjusted the rollers so the door is a lot better

After the first team wasn't able to repair the windows, Star Windows sent a second team that included the Window Whisperer who worked on the windows until they both worked as intended. I am very impressed with this company and their level of service. Most window companies just want to replace windows, not even attempt to repair, but not Star Windows! I would highly recommend this company.
