"We were very excited to hire them, however they lied to us since day ONE. We were told they would be 3 men working instead we ended up with HALF a man. We were getting charge constantly for things that we already paid for and when we questioned Wendy she would get upset and try to offer us way for them to keep our money. They were very unprofessional, leaving spits bottle all over my house. DO NOT let the pictures you see online fool you, Casey is an amateur he would sit and watch how to do things on YouTube. Letâ s not forget they are very indolent we were told they work 9-3 they NEVER work a full day, they donâ t respect timeline they were hired to work 4 months in our house they worked MAYBE 5 full weeks out of the 4 months. We love our kitchen but thatâ s because 99% of the work were done by other people(our cabinets and granite) If you are able to record every conversation you have with them please do, because THEY ARE LIARS they would tell you one thing and do the complete opposite. The quality of work they do DOES NOT worth the amount of money they will charge you. If you are looking for sloppy work, work that is falling apart while theyâ re still on site, unfinished work look no further"

"He was late every day, if he even showed up. Took 3 months to do a 3 week project and never did finish it. I had to have someone else come out and fix what Kocher couldn't after 5 separate attempts. His quality is pathetic. I have never laid tile before and I definitely could've done as good as his work looks. He cut tiles and left them on the wall with terrible touch up paint jobs and called it "art". I was less than impressed throughout this entire ordeal and wish I had never hired him or at the very least fired him way sooner than I did."

T & S went above and beyond. They looked for vintage flooring to match and customized the old-fashioned trim to match perfectly - no easy task b/c this trim and flooring type is no longer made. They smoothed and prepped the wall (plaster/lathe/wallpaper - difficult to work with) for me in areas not related to the lighting installation, knowing I’d be painting soon. Fast, friendly, and professional service. They were prepared with all supplies. They cleaned and organized the work space thoroughly before leaving every day they were there (2-3 days). They were responsive and straightforward throughout the project, gave helpful advice when I asked, and sought out ways to save me money. It may develop cracks in some places, but many find it aesthetically appealing. As long as no structural damage affects the plaster and maintenance is being performed—mainly repairing small patches and addressing water damage—plaster can last a long time.

The tool you use to sand plaster will depend on the size of the project. If you’re just working on a small section of your wall to get rid of an uneven spot on the surface, hand-sanding might work. However, for larger projects, a drywall sander can make a huge difference when it comes to both time and elbow grease—and an orbital sander can help for detailed areas such as around ceiling fans.

If you already have plaster walls and ceilings, adding new plaster costs $2 to $10 per square foot. For an average-sized room, that would come out to $1,200 to $10,000. However, the cost to replace plaster with drywall is higher—running between $720 and $1,250 for a 10-by-8-foot wall or ceiling (not including drywall finishing).

You can technically just paint over hairline cracks in plaster since these cracks are often harmless, but this will mostly be a waste of paint. Paint will only hide the hairline crack for a few months before it shows up again. The best solution is to repair the crack with flexible filler or joint compound before repainting.
