"Regarding this review, our comment is that this was an original 4-5 day project (Shower restoration, a few tile replacements, and tile cleaning) until Lisa and Brian added on multiple projects that we agreed to help them with. This obviously added on additional time (something that they did not mention in their review). They had a plumber and an electrician in during the original period that we were supposed to be working and we were asked not to work when they were there (same area). We were asked to finish walls that were taken out for the plumber and electrician. The only wall that they had an issue with, we might add, was one that had a bent pipe inside, from the old home settling, and not from us. This required a person/company that specializes in construction, we do not. We did agree to try and fix it for them (they asked us) and we did not charge them for it. We are not building or construction workers, rather we restore tile and grout and natural stone, work in showers, on floors, polish countertops, marble, granite, and these sort of things. We were transparent throughout this entire process. With the projected work in the original estimate, and had we not been held up by multiple contractors causing delay, unforeseen circumstances arising, and additional work they had asked us to do, we would have had the originally estimated work completed in the projected time frame. In reality, we went above and beyond and even had to pay out of pocket to our workers on days where we had $0 income for last-minute contractors coming in causing us not to not to be able to work, this resulted in the loss of income on our end. Days where if we had known that we would not be able to work, we could have been doing other projects for our other customers who were scheduled out. We most certainly do care about our customers, what we do and how we do it along with striving to provide superior customer service. Our ratings reflect this and we rarely have any issues. In this particular situation, after we exhausted our services with this one wall, we had someone come out that specializes in construction to look at the wall and speak with them and let them know what he could do for them (after our attempt). Lisa and Brian decided that they did not want to wait another 2 days for this project to be completed (the time it would take for the person we had come out to purchase the supplies and do the work), and they decided to not have him do the work. They told us instead, that they had a family member or close friend that was going to take care of this. A week later, we get another call, stating they had not had it completed after all and they hired someone else to start the following week. This rating is embarrassing and not at all a reflection of whom we are as a company or how we conduct business. We did take before and after photos of the work that we did for them. We might add, that the only issue that they had was with this one wall with the bent pipe that was added on because they asked us to do it and that we worked on it as a courtesy to them (no charge). It is clear that they are upset at the entire ordeal because they are in a very old home and it needs a lot of work, which must be frustrating. We do not believe however that this rating is just or fair to us. We did not even collect the entire amount. This job was a loss for us and then we have this rating to boot. Our professional services are very much needed in the Kansas City area and we provide an invaluable service for people. Our ratings mean the world to us. We just ask that people are fair and just when giving them. We are glad to hear that they found someone that does construction work to help in this endeavor."

"We did a shower restoration for you and this included cutting out the old caulk, replacing with new caulk, cleaning. We also re-grout and color seal if these are needed as well. We can make a old shower look better than new in most cases. Very glad that you considered our services well worth the money! Thank you for your business!"
