While both jobs go hand-in-hand when decluttering your home, professional organizers and cleaners do different jobs. A professional organizer will look at the project and set up the space to maximize it with storage and functional efficiency. A cleaner might do some organizing in the home, but their main task is to make sure it remains clean and free of garbage. If you want to put everything in its place, hire an organizer. If you want sparkling floors and dust-free surfaces, hire a cleaner.

Hydrogen peroxide is an effective stain remover for many kinds of stains on porcelain, ceramic, stone, and stainless steel sinks. Always consult your manufacturer’s instructions to ensure hydrogen peroxide won’t damage your sink. To remove stains with hydrogen peroxide, saturate the corner of a cloth or sponge with peroxide and gently dab at the stain until it lightens.

To clean an old dishwasher without a filter, start by removing the bottom rack to access the drain area. Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe down the interior, paying special attention to the corners and crevices where food particles and debris can build up. Pour a cup of white vinegar into a dishwasher-safe bowl and place it on the top rack, then run a hot water cycle to help break down grease and grime. After the cycle, sprinkle a cup of baking soda across the bottom of the dishwasher and run a short hot water cycle to deodorize and further clean the interior. 

Having dust in your home doesn’t automatically make your house unhealthy, but it can contribute to allergies and other respiratory issues. Dust is a mix of tiny particles that include dirt, dead skin cells, dust mite body parts and droppings, animal dander, and pollen, so breathing in excessive amounts isn’t good for your health. Dust accumulation can also accumulate in fabrics, mattresses, and rugs, as well as harm electronic devices if it builds up inside the system.
