We called Reddi Services and Damion was back early the next day to replace the part. He didn't charge us a service call for the second visit and even ran out to find the piece needed (he didn't have the part in his truck so he ran out to find it and charged us just for the part.). Once the occluded piece was removed, Kyle showed me the ends of the pipe after it was removed and why just trying to shift the caked in debris wouldn't work in this case.
