"Jeremy responded quickly to our request and we were able to get on his schedule within a day or two. Our initial request was just to pressure wash the house, but after discussing our property and finding out he could also clean the roof, patio, driveway and sidewalk for a reasonable price, we agreed he would clean it all. We had the roof washed once ten years ago. The house, patio and sidewalk have never been pressure washed. We were very happy with how well he communicated everything and how quickly and completely he pressure washed everything! We had quite of bit of dirt along the roof line on the white trim, some algae on the edges of the roof and the patio, sidewalk and driveway were dingy. He used a softer pressure so he didn’t end up blowing off any loose paint. We were so impressed with the final product that we plan on having the house, etc. pressure washed every other year! The first five photos are before Jeremy’s work, the last five should be after."

"I hired Burkeâ s Pressure Wash to clean our churchâ s parking lot before we repainted the lines of the parking spaces. He arrived at our agreed time and completed the job sooner than anticipated. The parking lot looks great, and multiple people have made comments about the noticeable difference. I definitely recommend!"

Pressure Washing questions, answered by experts

You should always hook up your pressure washer to the water supply before turning it on and ensure there’s a good water flow. If you try to turn the machine on without water in the system, it overworks and overheats the unlubricated pump. This can quickly lead to irreversible damage.

No matter the material, the best times to pressure wash or power wash a patio are spring and summer during a string of dry days. As long as the temperature is above 40 degrees Fahrenheit, you won’t encounter any cold-related issues. You need those dry days to ensure no algae or mold grows on the wet surface of the patio.

Yes, you must thoroughly clean your deck before staining. If you don't, dirt, debris, grease, and mildew can get trapped between the wood and the new stain. This not only looks unsightly but also prevents the stain from penetrating the wood properly, reducing its ability to protect the deck from weather and UV rays. As a result, the stain won't last as long or look as good. Any existing mold or mildew left untreated can continue to grow beneath the new stain, potentially leading to wood rot and structural damage. Always wait at least 48 hours after cleaning for the wood to dry completely before applying stain.

You can power wash your screen porch floors on a low setting to avoid damaging the walls or screens they contact. If you’re careful, you can use a power washer on the lowest setting for your porch screens. However, using a hose with a spray attachment reduces the risk of ripping the screen mesh and works as well as a power washer.

You’ll need to wait until the surface is completely dry, which can take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours under optimal conditions. The waiting period depends on several factors, including the type of siding and the weather conditions. Trying to paint before the surface is completely dry can trap moisture under the paint, leading to bubbling, blistering, and mold growth.
