"We had a (finished) basement that was leaking water during heavy rain. I solicited bids from four different companies, all of which proposed to do basically the same thing. Atlas was not only the cheapest, but they also said they could do it without tearing out the drywall or installing a sump pump (they saddled the drain system onto the main sewer line and added a backflow valve -- in the city, the waste and storm sewers are combined). Mike, the owner, was very friendly and James, the team leader, was very professional and helpful. The basement has gone a year -- including through the torrential downpours of December 2015 -- without leaking. There was some persistent leaking around the egress window. They had installed a drain pipe in the bottom of it and tied it into the rest of the perimeter drain system. It has leaked a little bit, and Atlas has come out 4 different times before concluding that the rain is hitting the shoddily-installed window and leaking in.
