Atlas did a fantastic job. Mike accurately diagnosed the problem (a foundation crack hiding behind wood paneling) and patiently explained it to us new homeowners. For the repair itself, he arrived on time, applied epoxy efficiently, and dealt with some unexpected obstacles. (Some flooring needed to be removed to -literally - get to the bottom of the issue.) Our neighbor highly recommended Atlas, and we see why!

The owner of Atlas Foundations assessed my 75 year old home that had a wet basement with every rain since I purchased it in 2020. I compared his recommendation to 4 other foundation repair companies and chose to go with Atlas for their fair price, knowledge on the matter, good reviews & responsiveness. Although I could not wait to get this repair behind me so I could settle into my home completely, reduce mold exposure and not come home from work after a rainy day to shop vac water from the floor, I dreaded this week long repair. The foreman, James Watson and his crew showed up every day on time or early, patiently answered any and all of my questions, accommodated my smallest requests and made this stressful home repair go smoothly. My project included exterior excavation, exterior drain placement and carbon fiber straps inside. I admit that I am a picky clean freak and they guys did a nice job cleaning up behind themselves and were respectful of my property. I thoroughly interviewed 4 other foundation companies most of whom could get to my costly job "pretty quickly." Atlas had a 4 month wait and I am glad I waited. In my opinion, Woods Basement System, and Helitech Waterproofing are high pressure young sales people who want to "patch" a foundation issue rather than resolve it. Danneger & Son's Foundation was my next choice based on experience & reputation, but they wanted to charge TWICE what Atlas Foundations did. And the good news is, it rained for a week after Atlas Foundations did my repair & I have not had 1 drop of water in my basement. Thank you Atlas Foundations, Mike, Kim & James and crew!

Atlas Foundation was wonderful. They were efficient, friendly, punctual, did quality work at a fair price. I tried to convince the owner, Mike, that I needed the more expensive french drain but he held to his ethics and said no the less expensive sump pump would solve my problem. He could have made more money off of me but he didn't. He held to his ethics and I am grateful because he was right.

Very well, hard working crew very polite left the job site clean and very prompt. No down time, I would use them again and urge you to consider them. Price was better than the big names in the industry. All the workers had a great attitude doing a difficult job in a basement that has low ceilings and they had to carry all materials in and out of the basement in buckets.

Highly recommend Atlas Foundation Solutions for basement crack repairs. They were referred to me by my aunt and did such a good job I am happy to refer them to others. Work was done professionally. The workers were courteous and explained the process and what to expect. Bid was the lowest I received from several other companies and the work that was performed was top notch. I would not hesitate again to use Atlas and highly recommend them.

We had a settling problem at one end of our house that involved two different issues. Mike identified the problem and offered a solution that was difficult for him but would resolve the issue at a lower cost than expected. When James and his team came out, the problem looked to be even more puzzling, but they fixed it....at the price quoted....and his team could not have been more informative as they worked or more respectful of our home (this was an "inside job.") It would be wonderful if everyone measured up to the standards that Mike has set at ATLAS FOUNDATION,

It took a while for the work to actually get scheduled but it was a really wet season and I think they were truly just busier than usual. The workmen were punctual, courteous, careful and cleaned up well after themselves. And they answered my many questions along the way. Honestly, I was shocked because generally things don't go this smoothly when I have work done on my home (and we've done a lot at this point).

Great job showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves. No more leaking into basement.

On the first visit, the technician completed some of the work but said he would have to return because it was too wet. When he returned, he said he finished sealing the cracks, but the basement continued to leak after each rain. When he returned again, he removed some of the previously placed material and placed some new. The leaking still continued. After contacting Atlas again, they responded: "you need to check gutters and do a water test on the drain line that is connected to that gutter the water is coming up hydrostatic through the floor now." They committed to, and we paid them to, stop the leaks. They failed. We will now hire another contractor to fully fix the problem.

I was extremely pleased with every facet of dealing with Atlas Foundations. Mike Willard provided me with a detailed quote and was extremely professional. The lead time he quoted was very reasonable and his price was also the lowest I received. The crew lead by James was very knowledgeable, fast and considerate of my home and property. Having to have your house piered is not something anyone wants to have to do, but when you need foundation work done call Atlas. James answered all my questions and even though it was freezing outside and they were working very hard, I actually had fun listening to how well they all got along together. To find an ethical, knowledgeable and considerate company with a fair price in any trade is difficult, but Atlas meet all those requirements. Before they came none of the 7 windows or the patio door on my 2 story addition would open. When the work was done, every window and door opened easily. It’s been 2months since they did the work and I’ve had no issues at all.

My wife and I recently completed a full home renovation that took roughly 7 months. During that 7 months, we never saw any indication of water issues in our basement. However, the first weeks after we moved in, we had a decent amount of water coming in via what was determined to be hydro-static pressure beneath our basement slab. We were referred to Atlas Foundation Solutions by a friend who has used their services previously. I called their main office and Kim was very friendly and knowledgeable about these issues. She scheduled Mike (the owner) to come by and give me a free estimate. Mike came out on time and as scheduled. We received 4 bids and Mike was one of the only guys who actually took the time to do some detective work prior to proposing a solution. He looked at our drainage around the house, the grading of our yard and the condition of our foundation in our basement. He quickly located two foundation cracks and noticed that the topography of our neighborhood is sloping down towards our home. Mike proposed that we install interior drainage pipe and a sump pump to relieve the hydro-static pressure that was pushing water from under our slab and into our basement and epoxy inject the foundation cracks that were noticed. This was the obvious solution; however, Mike was the only one who suggested that only two walls would need the drainage pipe, not all four walls as everyone else suggested. He took the time to explain why and it all made sense. Not only did Mike do an in-depth look around the home/yard, but his bid was very fair. Even after reaching out to other companies, their prices could not match Atlas' bid. We were happy to schedule the work with Atlas and again, Kim was great. We were put on the schedule a few weeks out, received a reminder/confirmation a few days before our scheduled dates and an entire crew was on site at 8:00 am. I believe there was a crew of 6 guys there on the first day, ready to work - I was impressed. The crew got right to work and did not stop. They were very friendly, clean, hard working and even finished a full day ahead of schedule. Not only was the crew great to work with, but they also fixed a few additional cracks in the foundation that were noticed when they arrived. I was shocked. The crew surface patched one small crack and epoxy injected another crack FOR NO ADDITIONAL COST!!! Overall, I was very impressed with Atlas Foundation Solutions and I have and would recommend them to anyone looking for these types of solutions. We are reaching one month of the work being completed and our basement is 100% dry. After a few heavy rains, the sump pump is working like a charm and there seems to be no water/dampness in our basement any longer. We are so happy to have the problem resolved. Thank you, Atlas!

the corner of my house had settled the last few years, Atlas gave a very reasonable cost estimate, even filled me in on solutions to some other non-foundation issues I had in my basement. I cannot speak enough of how professional the crews were. If they needed to come inside to talk to me, they took their boots off. cleaned everything up when they were finished, did a great job of re-pouring the pad for my washer/dryer (even made it a little larger than previously which is great). They were all always very pleasant and professional, even my dobermans loved the whole crew.

The owner Mike and his team headed by James were terrific! We noticed a huge crack in our house and called out 4 different companies. Each had a different solution. We then called out a structural engineer to evaluate the situation. Atlas Foundation was proposing exactly what the engineer suggested. Their proposal was also more complete and even included putting our decorative patio back to it's original condition, When work was scheduled, the team was punctual, friendly, and respectful of our property. I hope we never have to have this type of work again, but if we do, I would definitely call Atlas Foundation.

Hoped it could be mudjacked then repaired, but the told me it was too far gone for mudjacking. They responded quickly and let me know they couldn’t take care of it.

Generally very well. Performed work on time and were friendly, professional, and cleaned up afterwards. Only negative is water release out to the yard. They did not install pop up or other finish - just white PVC that ends in the yard with muddy trench in front of it from all the water. Woods has something that covers up that pipe and disperses the water better. Woods was about twice the price though, so dealing with the trench.

I wish I didn’t have to keep writing reviews for this company, because that means my house had yet another problem! But if I have to, this is the company I want to give 5 stars to. Mike and his crew haven’t let me down yet through the multiple problems with my house. This time a settling inner foundation corner required a 52’5” pier! Yikes! And they piered the porch too. They came prepared with covers for my wood stairs, a machine to blow the cement dust out my basement window, and more. Very professional the whole time, they answered any of my somewhat nervous questions. They neatly cemented up the hole, and cleaned up after themselves completely. Would I use them again? Let’s hope I don’t have to, but if I do, then it’s a resounding yes!

From start to finish, everyone at Atlas was fabulous. We received two bids and Atlas was cheaper. The scope of the work from Atlas was greater too. The other company didn't even look at our mudroom, which was clearly sinking. The work took two days, just as they said it would, and the guys did a fantastic job cleaning the job site. I couldn't be more pleased and would highly recommend them!

The basement is unfinished so there weren't any obstacles (finished walls, etc.) to getting the job done. Regardless, the process of putting in drain tile and sump pumps is messy at best. Atlas was able to minimize the mess as much as could be hoped for, and cleaned up exceptionally well when they were done. The job took a six man crew two days to complete. All six guys were terrific. The foreman (I am so sorry I cannot remember his name) was fantastic, keeping things moving and keeping us informed about the process every step of the way. The foundation is cinder block, and the crew drilled holes in every block that lays on the footings. That way any water that manages to get into the hollows of the cinder blocks can find its way into the drain tile. The crew ran the sump pump discharge lines underground and well away from the house. In fact, in the front of the house, they extended a downspout to go underground and tie into a four inch PVC pipe into which the sump pump discharges, and then extended that even further from the house. The thinking there was to help insure water wouldn't run across the sidewalk that goes from the driveway to the front porch. An excellent recommendation. In summary, Atlas did a super job installing the drain tile and sump pumps. They cleaned up extremely well. The concrete patching in the basement floor is super smooth. They made thoughtful and practical recommendations that yielded a much better finished product. We highly recommend these folks.

The work was done superbly and quickly. They cleaned up the area so we could not tell they had come, except for the expertly replaced post. I am a general handy man and know what things were to look like when done. I would recommend them strongly.
