"We had a large spruce tree that was pulling out of the ground that needed to be removed. James was exceptional. He was very responsive and quickly got the job done. James made sure everything was cleaned up, both after the tree removal and the stump removal. He is a very nice person who did an excellent job and went above and beyond expectations. I would highly recommend JP's Tree Service."

"10-26-20 I have never been this satisfied with a tree service in my life. I am 68 YO and the crew they sent me was clean, professional, courteous, and timely. They took all the dead wood out of 5 very large trees in my back yard, no boom work, all hand climbing. The cost was so reasonable and the clean up was excellent. If you have tree trimming to do and care about the health of your tress, call BAUMANN, I WILL AGAIN. JOHN G"

"I could not have been happier with the service. Easy to work with, professional, courteous, and great communication. But the thing that shone through most was the honest and fair assessment. I will definitely recommend the tree surgeons to others."

Small jobs welcome

"This contractor promptly responded and gave an estimate to trim and shape 2 spiral pine trees. The crew came out the same day to start work. Trees were cut to the requested height and cleaned up. The trees did not look very good after the trimming. Per request, the crew returned and did a fantastic job removing the trees to make way for new trees. Great job, and thank you for the fantastic customer service."

"Accutree is my go-to service for tree care and cutting. They trimmed a tree that was extending into our neighbors yard and touching their house. The crew was courteous and efficient. They trimmed the tree to my expectations and prevented the falling branches from hitting our house and our neighbors house. They balanced out the tree with trimming so that it looked nice and they cleaned up afterwards. Excellent job! I will call them anytime I need tree work done."

"They did so good that I had them do a couple of other jobs. One was uncovering a flagstone path that was buried and restored it and the other was to cut a dead tree limb."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

You’ll have to balance up the cost, the value of the tree (sentimental or otherwise), and the risk factors. An experienced arborist will help you understand whether transplanting is likely to be successful. The cost and hassle of transplanting a large, well-established tree are often not worth it, especially if the species is fast-growing and easy to source. The decision depends on the age and species of the tree, the conditions in the new site location, and how careful the company is when digging out and moving the tree.

Firewood tends to be cheaper during the spring and summer. When the demand for firewood is lower during these seasons, many firewood companies offer lower prices and added discounts. In addition, the supply of firewood is typically higher in these months, meaning the quality is typically higher as well.

If you aren’t sure what you’re doing, be very careful when cutting mature tree roots (roots larger than 2 inches). Root cutting and pruning can affect both a tree’s stability and its ability to nourish itself. Issues during root cutting can result in damage or injury.

It’s recommended you call in a pro to help, unless it’s a very small tree and you aren’t worried about the prospect of losing the tree.

Dutch elm disease can’t harm humans. In fact, according to Cal Fire, bark beetles aren’t even typically dangerous to trees unless that tree is already weakened. The problem comes when Dutch elm disease kills a tree. That tree is more at risk of falling and catching fire, which can pose a serious threat.

Unlike some fruit trees, such as apple, sweet cherry, or pear that require at least two trees for pollination, most peach trees are self-pollinating. This means you can plant just one tree and still expect it to produce fruit, typically within two to four years. For best results, consult with a local landscaper to choose the right peach tree variety for your specific climate, soil type, and yard layout.
