"Many thanks to the project manager for promptly responding to our initial inquiry, providing thorough and clear estimates for the options we wanted to consider, and coordinating the installation in a timely manner. Impressed with the quality of siding installation. The vinyl siding installation was done with precision, and the team was very professional. Highly recommend their services."

"Pro Home Exteriors did a great job replacing damaged fiber-cement siding and trim with new fiber-cement siding and trim. Painted the new materials. I was pleased with the quality of work of the crew. Looks great!!"

"Very happy with the job. Roof looks great. They followed up after job quickly. Really no issues at all but they are very attentive to even small minor things. Easy to get ahold of if needed. Definitely use them."

"They were very efficient. All windows in our rental house were removed and replaced with new windows in one day. All old siding was removed and replaced with vinyl siding on the second day. In two days the entire job was complete. Amazing when it was very cold outside in December. The salesman was awesome. Any time we had a question or problem, we could call him and he always took care of it. They were also very responsive and followed up with any issues. A couple of the windows had moisture issues in the winter months and they came back and checked the seals and fixed them. We have not had any problems since. We would highly recommend them.

"When I found out my chimney siding was Masonite (who the heck knows why someone would use that on the exterior )! I changed the scope to replace the siding on the entire chimney above the roof. Easton declined to do that work. However they were very responsive to my initial request and their price was reasonable. I decided to patch the hole myself and postpone bids to replace the siding on the entire chimney when I save up the money required."

"The salesman, Kevin Anderson, was very helpful in developing a new front facade. He was very intent on determining our desires rather than just selling us a product. The window crew, Butch and Brian, did a great job, particularly with installing the new inside trim. The siding crew also did a great job. Travis, the siding project manager, visited frequently during the work. He even ensured that there was plywood placed under the dumpster when it was set on the driveway to prevent scraping. This is the second time we have used Bordner for a big project and are pleased with the results."

"Our siding was in terrible shape. These guys came in and gave us the feeling of a brand new home. They were friendly and very efficient. They did an amazing job and I couldn't be more happy with our siding."

Siding questions, answered by experts

For homeowners looking for a less expensive alternative to metal siding, the most popular choice is vinyl siding. At just $3 to $12 per square foot, vinyl siding can cost much less than some types of metal siding. Other popular alternatives include fiber cement and engineered wood. Consult a local siding contractor to determine which type of siding will work best for your home.

While bleach can be effective in killing mold, it may not fully remove mold stains from siding. Additionally, bleach can be harsh and may damage certain types of siding. It's recommended to use specialized mold cleaners or natural alternatives that are safe for your specific siding material as a part of your regular siding maintenance

Yes, you can mix siding types to create a unique design. However, it requires thoughtful planning to execute properly. The installation process will also be more time-consuming than if you were to choose either vertical or horizontal for the entire home, so it will cost you more in labor and design costs.

If you buy new cedar, the process of cutting it usually roughs up the surface enough that it doesn’t require sanding. However, if you buy older cedar or you’re repurposing it from another application, it’s a good idea to sand it. This helps the stain settle into the grain, and results in a more uniform appearance.

Concrete log siding is not the same as fiber cement siding. Fiber cement siding is made from a mixture of cement and cellulose fibers, while GFRC is made from cement, glass fibers, and polymers. The materials are similar in their durability, longevity, and curb appeal, and the main difference is that concrete log siding is available in more styles that resemble traditional log siding. Fiber cement is also less expensive, with materials costing around half what you’d pay for concrete log siding.
