    The Mission Painting and Home Improvements team just performed a miraculous makeover on the exterior of our home. We went from shabby to fabulous in less than a week! The painting was long overdue and the house needed considerable carpentry work. Tony did a great job making the repairs and we appreciated his cheerful demeanor. Yuri and Henry repaired, prepped, masked and painted along with Tony and were pleasant and professional every day. There was tremendous attention to detail and the final walk through with David is something rarely seen with contractors. The management team, David and Kevin, were actively involved and were totally cooperative when we decided to change paint colors halfway through the job. We had a substantial amount of wood rot and panel siding that needed to be replaced as well as a new paint job. Ben did a great job on the front end by providing us a detailed estimate of what work would be done, including pictures of the damage to be repaired. This estimate had a huge impact on our decision on which company to go with, as we knew exactly what repairs were included in the proposal. Pablo did a great job leading the on-site team.     The company did not provide a quote. I made it clear to the salesperson up front I was looking for competitive bids (to try to save time on the bidding process) on Provia exterior doors and was more or less told by the salesperson that they don't sell to price-conscious clientele and they don't repair doors because they don't want the headaches. By the reviews, I'm sure they are a great company, but with such an attitude and not even willing to bid the work (been a couple of weeks now), that is not likely a company I would want to work with anyway as it appears to me they don't want customers that might be demanding or actually have expectations on price or quality, and high price does not always mean good quality in my experience with the trades. The salesperson was nice and spent a fair amount of time explaining why they don't need my business. I've never been in that kind of position, but more power to them and I wish them well. I'd give an F for the smug and unhelpful company attitude who doesn't need my business and an A for at least coming and explaining why they don't need my business which is why I'm giving them at least a C for half-hearted effort read less

    We made a wise decision when we chose Neighborhood Painting to work on our 112-year-old house. The work of the paint crew has transformed the appearance of our house. Just as important is the work of the prep crew, who caulked everywhere, repaired dry rot, fastened down loose siding, and installed our new storm windows. It's hard to put a value on the peace of mind that delivers. We were impressed by the organizational process Neighborhood Painting uses with separate paint and prep crews. Both crews were professional, experienced, and comfortable to have around - something important when crews are at one's house for many long days. They thoroughly cleaned up the worksite, and competently dealt with working conditions that included high heat and wasps. Neighborhood Painting also gave us access to a color consultant, whom we found very helpful.
