"Take your business to Heidrick Allen in Leawood, KS, 913-491-5346 if you need a lamp repaired. Dave Smith the Lamp Make employees are rude, refuse to honor customer requests, and will charge you a hefty fee without telling you what work needs to be done. My husband asked an extremely inconsiderate, offensive woman at the service counter if he could speak to the person who does the wiring; we have a lamp with an arm that bends and my husband wanted to repair it himself. She refused. He left the lamp with the woman, but asked her to call him before any repairs were made. They did not call him. He went in to inquire about the lamp a week later and they charged $44.00 to run a single wire through the lamp without telling him about the repairs. My husband asked for a phone call because he wanted to bring in the rest of the parts for attaching it to the lamp if that was necessary. She said, "You should have brought in all the parts when you brought the lamp in." He returned with the parts. More than a week has passed and the lamp has still not been repaired. How do these people stay in business?"
