"It went smoothly except that the Salesperson led us to believe that our windows would be maintenance free. On the casement windows, the installers only offered two options: Leave exposed wood that would require painting, or bridge across it with 5" wide aluminum trim that is not textured and would show any dents or imperfections. Textured trim that conforms to the contours of the window framing is commonly available as we pointed out with our neighbor's replacement casement windows. Thankfully, the cost was low enough that we were able to have a third party provide the finishing how we wanted it and stay within budget. One of the screens was damaged during installation and was replaced on a followup visit. One of the windows had an imperfection between the panes and was replaced on a followup visit. Overall, we feel that Window World was the best choice for our replacement windows."

Easton declined to do that work. However they were very responsive to my initial request and their price was reasonable. Travis, the siding project manager, visited frequently during the work. He even ensured that there was plywood placed under the dumpster when it was set on the driveway to prevent scraping.
