"Mike came out initially a couple weeks ago to perform the repair. He quickly identified that he needed additional information and approvals from Viking. He stayed on top of Viking and kept in contact with me regarding status. He scheduled another appointment once he had what he needed to complete the repair. It is the first time since it was delivered (about 3 months ago) that it functions and looks like the high-end Viking we bought. Mike was respectful of our home and our time and was contentious of detail. We have used them on occasion in the past and will use them again if needed. Nice job.

"Wonderful! Due to scheduling Justin wouldn't be able to send out a tech for a couple of weeks so he thought he could troubleshoot my problem over the phone. Two phone calls lasting about 20 minutes total and he was able to figure out it was a bad switch. I was able to do the necessary repair myself. Can't say enough about a person willing to do this pro bono vs setting up a service call. I offered to pay him for his time but he refused. Wow. I guess this was his Christmas present to me. They will be the first business I call if I have any additional problems with my fireplace."

"SERVICE MAN CAME OUT ON 10/19 TO FIX MY WASHING MACHINE THAT WASN'T DRAINING, FOUND A SOCK IN THE MACHINE TUB THAT WAS CAUSING THE PROBLEM AND ALSO DID SOME OTHER TROUBLESHOOTING TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS WORKING BEFORE HE LEFT. HE MADE SURE THE TUB WAS DRAINING, REMOVED THE PUMP AND CLEANED UP THE BUILDUP IN THE WASHER.  HE WENT OVER EVERYTHING THAT WAS WRONG AND WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PATIENT.  HAD ANOTHER PROBLEM ON 11/14 WITH SOME BUILD UP IN MY WASH MACHINE VALUES AND THE SAME SERVICE MAN CAME OUT.  HE CLEANED THE VALUES AND DID SOME ADDITIONAL TROUBLESHOOTING TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OKAY.  HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR THIS SERVICE CALL WHICH WAS A VERY NICE SURPRISE.  I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, THEY WERE ABLE TO COME OUT AND FIX MY WASH MACHINE PROBLEMS EITHER THE SAME DAY I CALLED OR THE NEXT DAY.  I PLAN ON USING THIS COMPANY FOR ANY HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE REPAIR I HAVE IN THE FUTURE.

Appliance Repair FAQs, answered by experts

Updates to your kitchen that enhance its look and utility, without significantly modifying the layout, add the most value. That includes refinishing cabinets, replacing appliances with newer models, replacing countertops, and painting walls.

No, a dent shouldn't impact the overall performance or health of a refrigerator. A refrigerator door dent is generally just a cosmetic issue that shouldn't interfere with any of the appliance's other components. However, a dent that is deep enough to impact the insulation or water dispenser could reduce the appliance's life span. If this happens, you'll need to do a cost analysis to decide whether you want to repair or replace a refrigerator.

You’ll notice your heating element is bad if your oven isn’t heating. Another common sign is if food is cooked unevenly. The element itself could look damaged, like if there were cracks or blisters on the element’s surface. If there is no damage, check the continuity by using a multimeter.

An air conditioner’s watt usage depends on multiple factors, including the type of AC unit, its size, and how often you use it. With that said, most central air conditioners consume between 3,000 and 3,500 watts. Meanwhile, window AC units use 900 to 1,400 watts, and portable air conditioners consume 2,900 to 4,100 watts.

Yes. Not only do gas stoves present the risk of a gas leak, but cooking with gas produces twice as much harmful particulate matter. According to Columbia University’s Climate School, gas stoves can also release formaldehyde, a known human carcinogen, and carbon monoxide, which can be toxic in high concentrations.
