"After having Ben and Vlad tackle our list of small house projects previously (I made a list while reading reviews), we asked for a quote for replacing the deteriorating boards on of our deck. The project was scheduled within two weeks of our decision to proceed. Luckily the weather cooperated (we did have an alternate date, just in case) and the project was completed in a week. This was especially helpful as the house painters are expected at the end of May. Vlad reused boards when possible put all the new ones on the stairs so that even unstained, it looks very nice. The builders had used only nails on the original deck, and now they are fastened with screws. They returned another day with the new screen door. Cleanup and communication were great throughout the project. We would definitely work with Handy Rite again."

He also never shied away from any type of work, from drywalling, to framing, to demoing, to painting, to removing wallpaper, to finishing egress windows, to remodeling closets, to installing sinks/countertops/doors/vanities, to even mounting t.v.’s. My wife, toddler, parents, in-laws and I are obsessed with the new basement playroom and “grandparents suite” he created for us and we will continue to call him for routine handiwork or other construction work in the future. "The fence Hal built around my property in South Minneapolis is absolutely beautiful.  For the price listed, he removed my old, rusted chain link fence and installed a custom, hand-built fence around the entire back yard. Unlike other fence builders with whom I met, Hal makes the fence himself, piece-by-piece, and puts everything together on location.
