"Awful! Workmanship was poor, no-show rate high. No “work crew” as promised; contractor brought his wife and minor children to “help”. Products ordered and paid for, damaged during installation necessitating do-over. Did not do installation following manufacturer recommendations. Blamed manufacturer for quarantine-related delays, but we verified order and ship dates with the manufacturer. Delays were contractor’s fault. Contractor made repeated draws on labor charges; stopped showing up when draws exceeded contracted labor fee. He collected state sales tax but has no tax permit on file with TX Comptroller’s Office. Posted photos on Facebook of other projects he was doing while he told us he had to quarantine due to COVID exposure. Never finished project; 60 days after bath remodel tear-out started, we hired a plumber and are completing finish work ourselves. Have posted other reviews and found that contractor has posted fake reviews for his own company. Reported to Facebook, and FB removed his business page."

Here at Rock Masters Solid Surface we are a new company owned by the employees. We have been in the Industry for 20+ years. Me personally have been a Journeyman Bricklayer for 24 years. Throughout these years in the Residential and Commercial Industry we have learned to hone our craft. We are able to communicate with the customer and deliver exactly what they want. "I would hire Alex again in a heartbeat and would recommend him to anyone. Courteous, highly skilled, great communication, fair price, and works HARD until the job is done -- and done to his very high standards. Alex and his brother dove in with a great attitude even to our brutal, nasty, old-house-bathroom demo that had to go down to the studs. They started on a Saturday and worked straight through the following weekend to get us back in our bathroom as soon as possible. He called us in regularly to consult on key decisions, and his design instincts are great. Along with being a top-notch tile setter (lasers, wet saw -- the tech you want to see) he has the requisite carpentry and core plumbing skills that can come up on a tile job, including built-in niches with proper structural support, and raising the entire floor so the floor tile met the hallway floor perfectly. He did the entire wainscot in Durarock (not everyone would!) and the rest in mold-resistent sheetrock. When he wasn't sure he could get the mudding meeting our old ceiling as perfect as he wanted, he subbed out at no extra cost to me to a friend who is an expert (and who also was terrific to work with). There are no cut corners (except for the perfectly mitred ones Vlad can achieve with the wet saw!). Our bathroom is gorgeous, the work was prompt, and Alex and his small crew were a pleasure to welcome into our home."
