Leon’s was recommended to me by a friend whose neighbor “raved” about the new countertops they installed in his home. I visited their showroom, and was immediately greeted and assisted by Merary. She was incredibly helpful, showing me various styles of quartz, and giving honest feedback about color and pattern choices and their impact on the overall look of a kitchen. I found a new style while perusing large slabs at MSI, and was thrilled when the price Merary quoted was a good fit for my project budget. I booked Leon’s for my project, and they were very prompt in scheduling a measuring appointment, followed by an installation date. The two women who came to do the laser measurements were courteous and professional, and very patient dealing with some questions (and skepticism) from a plumber who happened to be at my home at the same time to give me an estimate for plumbing disconnect/reconnect. Installation was about two weeks later. The installation crew (which included owner, Leon) arrived on time (actually a little early!), and worked quickly and efficiently, but also with great care. They tore out my old laminate countertops, including a 4” laminate backsplash and the old sink with faucet and disposal still attached. They laid down sheets to protect my flooring, and did an excellent job cleaning up during and after their work. Their attention to detail was excellent, and there was obvious pride in workmanship. They allowed me to take numerous photos during their process, which I appreciated! I am THRILLED with the results! The new countertops are gorgeous, and the light color brightens my formerly dark kitchen tremendously! I will happily recommend Leon’s to any friends who are considering new countertops, and would definitely hire them again in this or a future home.

We worked with Katie to choose countertops and get a price estimate. She called in the owner when we had a special request to raise the height of the vanity top. He was very helpful and could do what we wanted. The measurement and installation crews were very professional and showed up when they said they would. The crews were very skilled and cleaned up well. We are absolutely delighted with our new countertops and happy that we chose Leon's.

If you're looking for a great place for granite or quartz, I would highly recommend Leon's. We had our first meeting with Merary today and it was everything we were hoping to get for the home we're building. We are getting nicer counter tops than we were hoping for and at a very affordable price. Highly recommend.

I called on Monday to see if we could get granite countertops installed ASAP.  My husband had installed the vanities over the weekend, so we were without sinks or countertops in our bathrooms and have two teenage girls.  They came out the next day (Tues) and measured.  They said the install would be Friday or possibly the following Monday.  I pleaded with them for Friday and they came through!!  Friday they were installed. They are beautiful!  We had had our kitchen countertops done by them also so I knew their work and product was good.  But an additional plus about this company is their professionalism, they are by far the most professional company I have dealt with in a long time.  I was beginning to think professionalism was a thing of the past, not so with these guys!!

I was doing some remodeling in my home and decided to make some changes in the kitchen including replacing the countertops with granite. My contractor sent sent me to a different granite fabricator, a discount place in the Twin Cities to pick out the granite and it was a terrible experience. They only had small samples and the actual slabs were stacked out back, so you really couldn't see what you would get. I eventually went to their wholesaler (MSI).  MSI had a great showroom so you could see all different options along with tile and stone samples for the backsplash and were very helpful. I found what I wanted but had to go through the discount granite place to get pricing. The discount granite place actually wanted to charge an additional $10 per square foot if I picked out the slab at their wholesaler. When I was at MSI I found a couple of different granite options I liked better but when I called the discount fabricator to get the price they seemed like it was a bother to price them out. The prices they finally gave me were 60% higher than what I budgeted for through my contractor. I realized the service and prices from the discount granite fabricator were out of line so I decided to look elsewhere.  Luckily I found Leon's Countertops. I worked with Melissa and Manuel. Some cabinets still had to be moved but Manual was able to do the measurements and Melissa got me a quote that same day. Manuel came back out again to do the exact measurements after the cabinets were moved. I was only in town a couple of days each month during all of this so their quickness and flexibility was huge.   I was able to pick out the exact slabs I wanted at MSI.  After they got to Leon's, Manuel and I worked with the layout to make the most of the pattern's in the slabs. I ended up with the slabs I wanted for the price I wanted. Manuel and his team did a great job of installation and I could not be happier with the end result. Melissa and Manuel at Leon's Countertops turned a bad experience for me into a very good one.
