"I am a 76 year old woman who lives alone. I have three bathrooms in my home and called Boevaag Plumbing to repair one of the toilets. The service on August 22, 2024, was a replaced fill valve and flapper and the cost was $195.00. As long as the plumber was already onsite, I asked him to look at a second toilet that I thought might also needed a new fill valve and flapper. The plumber confirmed that was needed and asked if I wanted him to go ahead and do the repair. I asked him to do so. I naively did not ask what that additional repair would cost and assumed it wouldn't be another $195 as he was already on site. The plumber was very nice and left my home in clean condition. On completion of the second repair, I received a bill of $390! I was speechless and just wrote out a check. I wrestled for a couple of weeks with whether or not to call just to communicate my thoughts. I decided to write it off and never make the same mistake again. Shortly after the repair, the second toilet was giving me some problem. I called Boevaag and Jeff came out, at no charge. He found a piece of plastic in the new part that he thought was the culprit. A few weeks later the same issue presented. On December 5, 2024, I called Boevaag and told them the issue had not been resolved. Joe said he would get back to me. I called again on December 13, 2024 because I had not heard from Joe, left a message and Joe texted back, "Yes, you are on our list. With this cold weather we have been backed way up." With Christmas and the new year coming up, I chose to wait to hear back. Today is January 6, 2025. As I have not heard back, I called and talked to Joe. Joe assumed Jeff had followed up and resolved the issue. As that is not the case, I offered to accept a $150 refund and I would hire someone else to fix the problem. Joe said he would talk with Jeff to get the problem fixed and he hung up. I know plumbing repair is expensive and I may be wrong, but I feel, as an older single woman, I was taken advantage of. Joe has no customer service etiquette. He is rude and condescending. NO....I would definitely not recommend Boevaag Plumbing."

"These guys are absolutely awesome! We had a cracked heat exchanger and it was dangerous to continue heating because of carbon monoxide leaking. The original duct work was all done incorrectly and caused the furnace (and A/C} to overwork. We had their representative, Danny come to our house one afternoon to give us a bid for heating, duct replacement, and air conditioning. Well, by the next morning we had we had a whole team of guys here and ready to start work on the job. I still don't know how they managed to pull it all together so fast! They had the new furnace, duct work and air conditioner all here and ready to be installed! These guys were all awesome. They worked so hard, and they went the extra mile to make sure we were happy with what they were doing. We would DEFINITELY recommend using Total Comfort and their great team! "We hired Craig's team for several plumbing projects including installing a high-efficiency vertex water heater and water softener, installing a new dishwasher and sink disposal, and installing a 2-way front cleanout in the yard. Every time they were here they were knowledgeable, fast, and courteous. They would explain what was needed and why, go into detail on what items were "should be done now" versus "could be done sometime in the future," and provided information on to best upkeep the systems. We've had consistently great experiences with them and will be hiring them again when we have more plumbing needs."
