Todd was fantastic. Fit me in first thing the next day. Very personable. Work performed was exceptional. Price was exactly as we discussed and not out of line from other plumbers. Plumbers own their own business, carry their own health insurance, contibute to their own 401k. carry an inventory, typically have their own truck ( gas, insurance, maintenance, loan payment). So before we, as individuals, say these guys charge too much, we have two choices....learn how to do this ourselves or hire someone who isnt skilled in this trade. I chose to hire a master plumber to get a job done that i couldnt do myself (even though i tried) and am happy with the decision. Read all reviews. ESPECIALLY the bad ones when youre looking to hire a service. Not one bad review on this site states a deficiency in the work Todd performs. Keep that in mind. Will hire again this summer to replace a frost valve that leaks

He is unpleasant and rude. My wife didn't want to be around him and left. He is also really expensive. He charged us $289, labor only, to install a faucet we had already purchased. It took him an hour and a half. $200 an hour.

Todd was really great to work with - our shower is fantastic (3 years later) and we are looking to ask him again to review upstairs bathroom plumbing for the next project.

Since there'd been a mix-up with the appointment with my regular plumber, St Croix responded to my cry for help. He had to replace an old valve in the basement which had sprung a leak. It works very well now. However, he cut the remaining water line to my fridge & removed it. I'm not a plumber and I didn't realize that's what happened. 24 hours later, my regular plumber came to re-connect the water to the refrigerator & that's when I found out about it. Another issue had surfaced during St Croix's initial visit that was beyond anyone's control; it required additional work for my regular plumber, which I understood completely. However, there were additional charges from my plumber because of the removal of the water line for my refrigerator.

Todd & his son were wonderful! Explained procedure, that access hole would have to be cut in wall. I still had chance to decline with that news, but proceeded with job. Cleaned up work area totally. I would hire again if a need arises.

He was done in less than an hour with quality workmanship. Then the bill for $510 came. Less than an hour and less than $50 in parts. That's over $460 an hour. It was an in town job, so travel was not the issue. It was not after hours for an emergency, so that's not the issue. $460 an hour is a very big issue.

Called me quickly. Arrived when scheduled. Fixed with no fuss. He explained to me why it happened and what I could do to avoid it in the future. Good and professional.

Like the other bid, I was told that, I needed to have my house replumbed in order to repair the water pressure issue on my tub. It started out well, Todd was friendly and gave me a good price. He does not provide financing so I had to work that out on my own. He was paid 1/2 down on day 1. Todd and his plumber showed up each day on time and reported the work that was completed. Once the replumb was complete, I was told the tub was still not working and it would cost an additional $579, to make the only repairs that I really wanted done in the first place. I was not home when the work was completed and I let him know that I needed to shuffle some money around (due to the extra cost, I did not have an adequate loan.) He and I agreed that he would stop by my house the next day to pick up a check. He called the next day to let me know that he would not stop over, instead he wanted a credit card payment (for which he adds an extra 3% convenience charge). When I explained I was in a public place at the time and would not provide payment over the phone immediately, Todd accused me of trying not to pay for the work - when in fact, he was the one that changed the payment agreement that day. I was insulted by the insinuation. In addition to the payment issues. I was left with SIX holes in my walls that were not repaired. Four of the holes were for access to the plumbing in the bathroom. Even though he referred to them as access "panels", there was no panel constructed to cover the holes. In addition there are two holes in the bathroom wall where the flanges for the input lines were not replaced. I am extremely disappointed in what I feel is incomplete work.

Very well. Prompt, efficient, good work. Pricing a little better than my previous plumber. Will be my go to for plumbing needs.

Todd is excellent. We had a frozen pipe burst in our garage because a shut off valve was faulty. He came and repaired the shut off valve. We will have him replace the pipe in the garage in the spring because it is no longer leaking and -10. He came and did the repair quickly and did such a great job you would never know he was here. The work are was left very clean. He even changed out set up a bit to help us avoid a similar event in the future.

He isolated the leak, opened a single hole in the wall, and repaired the broken pipe. Entire project was under 2 hours. Professional job completed.

He explained the situation and finished the job and an excellent manner.

Todd and his son came on time, did excellent work, cleaned up totally and were very professional in their approach, work and demeanor!

Todd and Shea did a great job. I am very pleased with the Uponor PEX piping system they installed. I would not hesitate to recommend St. Croix Plumbing and Drain Cleaning.

I messaged Todd on a Saturday morning and he called me back within 10 minutes. We set up an appointment for the following Tuesday morning. He and his son were on-time, removed the old water heater, installed the new one and they were out the door in under two hours. Based on my experience, I would recommend them. I think that I could have paid less if I shopped around, but I have no regrets. Great customer service.

I proactively replaced my 15 year old water heater since it was about that time and I didn't want to have a huge leaking mess in my basement. Todd was prompt, friendly and professional. I absolutely would hire St. Croix Plumbing again. Thanks Todd!

Went great. Todd and Shea arrived when they said they would and took the time to educate me on things that could impact water pressure in a home that uses a well, which is a new thing for me. They quickly diagnosed and fixed an issue with a new kitchen faucet I recently installed (incorrectly!) and fixed an unrelated leak. They also installed a new faucet in my bathroom. They were quick, tidy and professional and I'll definitely call them when I need a plumber in the future.

Jason H did a really good job in finding what the root of the problem was, He was responsive, explained clearly what he found, and provided a good service. Would definitely hire again.

Very knowledgeable and professional. Only issue I had was that this cost $200 for 15 minutes of work - $40 service call, $150 minimum. I did get another small repair on my kitchen sink faucet given the minimum service call. Does not do clogged drains.

Todd arrived on time and went right to work. Not only was he proficient he was personable as well. The work was done quickly and he left my kitchen cleaner than when he arrives.

Smooth, fast and efficient

I called Friday afternoon and repair man said he could come and install the new disposal on Sat. morning. When he showed up he got right to work and was finished in about an hour, he was very professional and cleaned up when he was done. He also answered all questions that I ask. If I need more plumbing work done I will call on St. Croix Plumbing again.
