"I was expecting good work, given the previous reviews, but this blew me away!  Hal has an attention to detail that is truly not seen in this day and age.  He rounded the edges of every board used in the fence.  The spacing between boards were all customized so that every section looked perfect. He created a deck that captured the style of the house, and also created a seamless transition between the decks on either side.  The arbors are lovely.  He talked me out of a few things and came up with better solutions that I love. He also listened to my ideas and went with them when they made sense.
The guy is a craftsman!  Little things matter:  perfect beveled corners on the deck.  A birdhouse needed to be re-located as part of the project.  Hal noticed that the birds were still nesting in it, so worked around it and came back to relocate it when it was safe.  Then, without my asking, he fixed the birdhouse so that it would be easier for me to clean it.
I've had many, many glowing comments from friends, neighbors, and family.  People I know who do carpentry for a living were also very impressed by his work.
Things you should know:  This is not a big operation.  It's Hal plus a helper or two.  You need to be flexible on starting dates, and it may take longer to finish than you think it will.  Hal cuts all the boards in his shop before assembly on site - he really does.  If it seems like the project should be starting and you don't know why he's not on site, that's why.  The finished product is totally worth the wait.

The tech arrived promptly at the scheduled time with a friendly ready to fix our problem attitude.
We have raised nails and screws on our deck that always seem to reappear during winter months.
These raised nails and screws made snow removal just horrible.The Cady tech recommened that we remove many of the bad loose fastners and replaced with a new non-corosive styles of screws.
After a complete walk through of our project we were extremely satified.

Justin was extremely responsive and timely in coming to look at it, met with the insurance agent on extremely short notice, and was highly knowledgeable in helping us to understand the insurance process. He and his project manager, Darrin, were always available to answer questions and help us with samples and decisions. "Damian and his crew did an amazing job on my basement. I had at least two other contractors flake out on me and I was thinking no one would want to tackle my basement. I had multiple floods in my basement and needed a lot of sheetrock repair. I also needed a stud wall, sheetrock and electrical run for a wall I had to tear down (sump pump and drain tile installed by someone else). They handled the job no problem. Communication was excellent, they showed up on time and I never felt like they were "in the way." The workers were always polite and they left a clean work space. If I ever need more work done I would not hesitate to call them again. I feel like I have my basement back."

"It looks like the job was done well. We had some heat coils up on the roof and we asked them to reinstall them after they were finished. They did not do this, and I was disappointed with this. The flashing around the chimney also looks a little sloppy. Also, every time that I tried to call the home office, I could not get an answer. They were one of the lower bids that we received and they were able to quickly do the work. Although, I don't think they were very professional and I wasn't overly impressed."
