"Jason gave us a very fair bid and did a quick but very thorough job. We asked him to replace both tub and lav sink faucets, remove some old PVC and galvanized pipes and streamline our laundry sink setup. He completed all the work and cleaned up after himself as well. We will use him again for additional projects."

"Ronnie was awesome! He worked hard and got the job done in a timely manner. His rates were very reasonable. Tore up floor and replace rotted pipes. The place was a mess but he cleaned it up completely. Out of five stars I give him 10."

"Excellent!!  this provider is extremely qualified, responsive and very quality oriented.  His team arrived on time, were very polite and friendly and you could tell they all worked together as a team.  I had prepared a grading plan and Jason was so exact in his quest to give me the best drainage possible, he repeated taking grade measurements throughout his process.  He must have re-verified the gradient at least 8 times to make sure we got it right.  Great job of grading and sodding and debris removal.  Price was good and what we had agreed upon.  I would use him again in a heartbeat!!!  I would also recommend him to others.

Drain Pipe Installation FAQs, answered by experts

A good option for opening up and cleaning a sink drain is to use a ¼ cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar, along with a rubber stopper to cover the drain while those materials work their magic. After about 15 minutes, you can flush the drain with hot water. In many cases, these materials can scrub out minor clogs and get the drain working properly again. If the issue persists, call in a plumber near you to get the problem permanently fixed.

The cost to unclog a drain varies based on the location and severity of the clog. For simple clogs within your home, such as in a sink, toilet, or shower, hiring a plumber typically costs between $110 and $350, with an average of around $200. Snaking a toilet or sink usually costs between $110 and $275, while a bathtub or shower clog costs about $225.

For a more serious clog in the main sewer line, the cost is higher. Clearing a main line clog generally costs between $200 and $600, with an average of about $380. However, prices can range from as low as $100 for snaking a minor clog to over $1,600, particularly if advanced methods like video inspection and hydrojetting are needed for a large or hard-to-reach blockage. Some severe main line clogs can cost upwards of $1,000 to clear depending on factors like the cause of the clog, its distance from an accessible cleanout, and whether the pipe is located beneath an occupied space (e.g., in an apartment building). You may be able to save money on minor clogs by using a drain snake or bladder yourself.

Biodegradable drain cleaners use naturally derived ingredients, such as baking soda, vinegar, and boiling water, which bacteria and other microbes can break down. Unlike conventional cleaners that rely on corrosive bleach (sodium hydroxide), biodegradable options are gentler on fixtures and less harmful to the environment. Because they don't release harmful gasses, they are also safer to use, especially in households with children, and do not require the same safety precautions as bleach-based products.

Clogs in a sprinkler valve can be caused by various factors, including debris in the water supply, sediment buildup inside the valve, or damage to the diaphragm. Debris and sediment can accumulate over time, obstructing the valve's passages and impeding water flow. Damaged diaphragms may develop tears or holes, leading to blockages and affecting the valve's ability to open or close properly. Regular maintenance and cleaning can help prevent and address these issues, ensuring your sprinkler valve operates smoothly.

Septic tanks can clog if they aren’t pumped every few years since solid waste accumulates inside of them. Your tank might also clog if you have a habit of flushing anything other than human waste or toilet paper. Items like diapers, baby wipes, paper towels, cat litter, and personal hygiene products should never go down your pipes.
