We had two other plumbers turn us down as customers because our house is so old the doors and stairway won't accommodate their machines. American Sewer had a machine that could fit through a 22" aperture. Not only that, someone came out the same day and did the work, making it possible for us to use all our indoor plumbing again for the first time in a week. The plumber was very nice and let my husband watch and ask questions while he worked. We'll be having them out again next year to chop out those lilac tree roots when they grow back into the pipes.

We had razors, batteries stuck in the basement shower drain that was there for years along with other stuff. He figured out a way to finally clear the drain. Quality work. Thank you.

He knew where the issue was right away. Didn't even need to go to the laundry. Asked to look in the media room to find the pipes. Fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes.

Dave was very professional and was very nice and fixed my problem and gave me advice as to how to keep my drain clear for which I am very thankful!!!

Prompt, excellent service! I submitted my request for clearing a clogged bathroom drain on a Friday morning. Within five minutes, Jonathan at American Sewer called me to see how he could help and get it scheduled. He was willing to schedule it that same Friday at 5:00 after work or on Saturday at no extra expense. As I was ready to drive home from work, I got a call from Donald at American Sewer asking if he could meet me at home, which he did. He came and put on boots to cover his shoes, looked to see what I needed done and did it efficiently plus made sure he cleaned up after himself. The rate was very reasonable and I would highly recommend them.

Identified the issue and set us up nicely for after we get the bathroom floor redone. Satisfied with the cost as well.

Jonathan called me immediately after I submitted my inquiry on the HomeAdvisor website and Donald came to my house about 4 hours later! He quickly found the root cause of the water in my basement and replaced my sump pump the same day! (My sump pump had stopped working and I had water backing up underground and into my basement crawl space). Jonathan took my issue very seriously on the phone and seemed genuine and empathetic during our conversation. Donald was extremely professional, respectful, polite, and efficient in performing the repair. Just to add to my positive experience with this company, I was extremely impressed that Donald came to my house with a pair of rubber “slippers” that he stepped into so as to avoid his street shoes contacting my foors in my house. This company’s response time, quality of work, and care shown for the customer make them top notch in my opinion. I write this review as I listen to my sump pump continuing to work at removing the excess water that had seeped into my basement. Thank you Jonathan and Donald! I appreciate you.

The best customer service ever!

Jonathan the owner is very good, he answers all my call and they did a good job. They give me 90 days warranty too just in case the problem will come back. The technician is very courteous too. I recommend them to anyone. Price is reasonable.

Very responsive on a Sunday, stayed late until tough job was done, very personable and communicated often about situation and dealt with us openly and I feel very honestly. Liked that they are local and family owned and operated. Would definitely recommend them for sewer drain clean out!

Plumber was late for appointment, however, I understand that it is impossible to know in advance if the previous job is going to take more time than projected, I did not think it was unreasonable.
