"We needed a repair because the water heater was shutting down every few days, there was an error code from one of the sensors. The company was very responsive - I called them in the morning and they were here in the afternoon. The repairman was able to fix the problem without needing to get new parts, so that was also good. My issue with WHN was I felt that the service was overpriced. They charged us $119 to show up and diagnose the problem, and then it was $225 in labor (their hourly rate, and they charge the full hour at a minimum). So the repairman spent a half an hour here, and we were charged $344. And yes, in fairness they informed us of these charge prior, but as we got into the process we just thought we'd bite the bullet and get it done. At the same time, we didn't feel the pricing was really fair and think these rates are a lot higher than what seem to be comparable services like plumbing. In fact we just had a plumber here for about an hour of his time and it was about $200. Now, it's possible that WHN's pricing is set at a premium because of cases where the water heater is completely non-functioning and in need of same day service. But this was not the case here, it was more of an intermittent problem. For this reason, I would look for someone else if in a similar situation again."
"Salesman was informative, had brochures to explain the product. Pre-construction meeting was helpful to ask detailed questions. Installers arrived on time, put down drop cloths, removed shoes and cleaned up, for the most part. I had 2 showers replaced two months apart (due to mold issues) - first one finished in a day, second one took 2 half days due to a previous owner's plumbing issue. Five Star arranged for plumbing inspections day of and final one after completion. There were a couple of shower head and faucet issues for the first project but Five Star was very responsive to me and got them settled quickly (I recommend making sure you have the installers check out the equipment before they leave!). Price was comparable to other bids. Overall a good experience."

It’s a good idea to drain your pipes to prevent them from freezing if you’re expecting extremely cold temperatures or planning to be away from your home for an extended period of time during the winter. You may be able to avoid draining your pipes if you insulate outdoor pipes and keep your home heated to a minimum temperature of 55 degrees.
When positioning a pot filler, it should be mounted at a height that allows for convenient access without obstructing the cooking area. A general guideline is to place it 18 to 24 inches above the stove. For a more customized height, measure your most-used pots and install the filler 5 to 10 inches above your tallest one. Regarding horizontal placement, while centering the pot filler can be aesthetically pleasing and ensure it reaches all burners, it is often safer to install it to the left or right of the cooking surface. This placement helps you avoid reaching over a hot stove and reduces the risk of the filler itself getting hot from a large boiling pot. If you do choose to center it, be careful to avoid burns.

A standard toilet flange should fit snugly into the outflow pipe and sit level with the subfloor. Installing a new one without first removing the old one will make it impossible to form a seal and keep the toilet bowl bolted securely in place.

Extenders typically come in kits for easy DIY installation, fit over the existing flange, and bring the drain connection higher.
Depending on the issue, you have a good shot at fixing a leaking sink yourself. If you have some plumbing experience or are comfortable with DIY jobs, you can clean the P trap, tighten nuts, replace washers, and replace shut-off valve stems on your own.
