"We're very pleased with our new siding! The job was started shortly after the order was placed and each phase was done by a specialize crew who knew what they were doing. "Mold remediation is an area that most homeowners have little or no knowledge, so we rely on the expertise of "mold specialists".  This is an unregulated industry and licensing is not necessary.  So what you have is alot of opinions of what the problem is and how it should be solved.
Do yourself and your pocketbook a favor and at the very least go to www.epa.gov/mold/moldresources.html to begin your education about mold.   Google "mold solutions" and you will find some easy and cheap solutions to at least some mold issues.
Lastly, if you find you do need a mold specialist, get at least 4 estimates and detailed explanations of what will be done, what type of warranty will be given (usually none) and why their approach will resolve your problem.  I guarantee your head will be spinning.

"After a washing machine malfunction, our home suffered extensive water damage. We hired Rough Cut Renovations to handle the repairs and we're SO glad we did! Derek was personable, reliable and steady through the entire renovation. When he said he would be there on any given day, you could bet he'd be true to his word. Our bathroom is now a one-of-a -kind showpiece. The tile work is beautiful and the new flooring and woodwork installation throughout the main floor is perfection! "Well it took some time for them to get out there because we had lots of rain that week, but when they showed up, they were great, I cant believe they even took the time to do a little shed for me that was not even in the quote, and did not charge me for it, they said they felt bad because the rain kept delaying them but that was not there fault, wow what a professional company, you don't see guys like Mr. Moss anymore you could tell his work is very important to him....."
